*ahem* So far my watches shipped by EMS from UK and Japan all ;)

But those from Germany shipped by DHL/FedEx/UPS ... all :(

Recently I bought my Tag Monaco from Japan Dealer on Chrono24. It was shipped via EMS and when it arrived, no GST payment was requested. I think no guarantee every time will be like this, but if it does, just take it as additional discount. When buying online, I always factor in GST.

Japan Domestic Market/Model (JDM) as one of the forumer mentioned, it's available only for their domestic market. They are known to keep the best stuff for themselves.

Realized that I have yet to answer the MIJ part. I've read about Sumo watch cases being MIC. Go search the Internet.

I used to have a sumo, the built is much better and has a better movement 6r15 with 50 hrs power reserve and lume is really bright. If u have small wrist, should be ok, coz I also have small wrist. Do note sumo only takes 20mm straps if i rem correctly ... I prefer it with a nato/zulu strap

Nicenice! Picture for us to admire~ was considering between 116710ln or blnr. But got the LN one instead, although the blue is real interesting.

I wish to see it in person and try it on my small wrist first. haha Then maybe get it online. But will jap retailer make sure the watch is in good condition before they send them out?

I think you can be rest assured of jap retailers in ensuring the proper care is taken while shipping them out.

Guys,

I'm deciding between SRP637K1 (Baby Tuna) and SBDC001(Sumo). Are they both very different in terms of specs? The baby tuna is about $4xx and Sumo is $6xx. Is the Sumo worth about $200 more?

Which one is more worth as first watch?

Hope to hear inputs as still a newbie here.

Try both of them on and see which one you like more and find yourself staring at it at longer:s13:

Movement wise sumo has better movement than the baby tuna.
Sumo is big sized, used to have one but sold it as i found it too large for me..
