Tissot is a okay brand, makes a solid watch at reasonable price. Other Swiss brands at tihs price range also got hamilton, mido, certis etc. Most important must like the watch lor.

Buy the watch you like the most after trying them out. If you keep staring and admiring that watch most likely it's the one for you. Tissot visodate is a great dress watch under 1k.

Thanks for the reply. I actually called him up but he said he does not want to do it as he's afraid that it's hard to take out. Is there such a thing? As I don't really know how to approach him due to my poor knowledge of watch parts.
