Care to share which model is it and which hand did you wear it on.

I'm thinking to get a fitness tracker, but scare that I will look weird with the wrist watch on.

However santos is fitted with a eta mechanism right? Lots of criticism over that

how much better would you think is an "in house" movement compared to an eta? and do you think that they are all that more expensive to justify that extra (tens of) thousands (in some brands) ?

if its like tudor, almost twice as much pr, silicon hairspring, traversing bridge and cosc certified.

I wear my watch on my right hand & a fitness tracker on my left. I wear the Fitbit Charge HR, which also displays the time. If you don't feel weird about it, you won't worry if others will feel the same.

you can try and bargain down to about 3k or less..

Black bay is good used to have one sold it off..

Movement worth it is subjective.
Whats more important is you like the watch

Nomos, Zenith and the upcoming Tudor in-house doesn't charge tens of thousands extra for being in-house.

IMO, if Tudor can produce an in-hse movement with 70hrs PR, free sprung balance, silicon hairspring, etc at a price cheaper than the Rolex Explorer, I would pick it over an ETA any time.

I think BB price is still reasonable for a ETA movement watch. The ETA2824 has been modified with a Triovis fine-adjustment regulator and KIF shocks, something you don't see on stock ETA movement.
But I certainly would not pay anything more than $5K for an ETA based watch.
