You know what series for 2010 period?

Btw It doesnt mean u buy a rolex 8k and keep 5 years means it will appreciate and u can sell 10k hor. You could lose 500 to 1k in the process u wan to flip or sell for money.

Money hard to earn. Either buy the oldest or buy the newest. Thats my thought.

Buy the seller means buy from a person or shop you can trust. Person you can try sgroc but higher risk. Shops you can go chuan, watchlink, hj. Google the words and they have website and price.

I love aquaracer. Handsome thing. I do a wrist shot later ok boss when i reach home. But mine is 2006 era aquaracer. My first loveeeee

still got yeo khim choy or sumthing ;););)

I really dont think can earn eh

My experience

Sub LV ( 50th anniversary) brand new M series bought 7.5k (roughly). Then 1 year plus i sold it at 7.2k and i top up 1.5k for my current subC v series. I dont see as i lose 300. I see as i top up 1.8k so in all and the subC is 8.8k

Then i mentioned the story of me wanting to flip for subC TT LN. Same shop take back only 7.8k and that is i flip hor so meaning more top up. If not maybe he will only take 7.5 to 7.6k

The gmt could be a different story. I bought brand new 8.5k. Then swiss franc drop remember? Grey was selling at 10k for brand new. This one might be able to break even. Crossing finger but its not my priority. This is a lucky watch to me for my boy. It is also entitled to the 5 years warrenty :)

Please dont quote the price i stated above. I agar agar one. Cant remember the exact price liao

latest hoot from gnomonwatches. :D

they told me that they only have 2-3 pieces left before I bought this

the overall weight of the watch is pretty impressive! definitely gives you a good feel when wearing it.

loving this timepiece! :s12::s12:

Nice! Good to meet another Steinhart fan here. I'm more into their pilot watches. Just got a Steinhart Nav B-Uhr 47 Automatic B-Type from Gnomon Watches last week as well.

Have since ordered a Flieger strap from Steinhart directly as Gnomon Watches do not carry them.

Should i buy from tagheuer boutique shop at wisma or at cortina? Any difference? I think the new aquracer automatic ceramic bezel is not bad.

Normal usage and handling. But the gears for the day, date, month go all haywire.

Sorry to hear about your swiss made Tissot. One problem paying for an expensive watch like an expensive car is expensive servicing, so buying an expensive watch is the START of burning more cash down the road. Hard Truth.

Consider a Seiko/OrientStar/Citizen and save your spare cash for a rainy day.

Real watch lovers respect Seiko/OrientStar/Citizen because they are true watch manufacture with their own inhouse movements and a vertically integrated design, production, distribution, retail and servicing set-up that produces everything they put in their watches on their own - down to their screws, hairsprings and crystals. Many swiss brands charging you 10X and more simply can't do that.

What's more the reliability of Seiko/OrientStar/Citizen is proven (meaning little or no servicing), with affordable cult classics beloved by watch nerds the world over, just ask my Orange Monster! :D

Thanks for the detailed explaination. U guys are really a nice bunch i must admit. Do you mean if i buy a tagheuer (not exactly expensive) i may have more servicing problems than a say, citizen watch? By the way after my tissot failed me i gotten a citizen really loving it, cant say much abt the accuracy but so far so good as a dress watch, nothing to grab attention, just plain watch that i think can last me for quite some time, until the ecodrive mechanism breaks down. I used to have a seiko 5 many years ago but i dont really fancy the plain look so i given it away. Since i already have a citizen, u think i should not waste my monies to buy a swiss tag?

The retailer's job is exactly what it says on the tin - make you feel good about the purchase, then take your monies in return for the watch.

Service is always a bit hit or miss. Where I bought from, service wise was nothing special, but the discount was :s12: As for the "purchase swag" (extras you get), it also depends.

As for after sales, most of the time you will get something that checks out all good, so never mind. Besides as Iverson said, all future problem you just raise with service centre.
