all these watches servicing should be high hundreds to thousandssss of dollars.

 service once in 2 years and gotta spend servicing thousands of dollars? then might as well after few years change new GS more worth it rather than keep on servicing tiobo? :(

Recommended. But don't have to. There are Rolex(s) that has gone without servicing for 20-30 years!

i dont need to be so flashy, i just need a GS is sakti enough?

u want satki get rolex, because it saves you time trying to explain how satki GS is to the common folk. anyway most ppl won't appreciate GS, simply because Seiko is not as prestigious a brand name as rolex. Some ppl might even call it an ah pek brand.

You want ppl to recognise your watch (and the impression that you have "arrived") just get a rolex.

no point. u get SBGE001 is still "just a Seiko". I dunno if you get what i am trying to tell you. It is apparent to me that you are trying to get a watch that is bao ka liao, but your priority to me appears to be brand recognition. In that respect, Rolex is unrivalled, because EVERYONE knows what a Rolex is. If you want to boost your street cred, getting a Rolex is the way to go. Nobody scoffs at a Rolex. Nobody will look down on someone wearing a Rolex (to some extent.) With your mentality, you buy a GS i can foresee that you will regret because nobody can share your joy except watch aficionados.

bro, im not toking bird language, its true story. The motorbike didnt travel very fast, it was moving very slowly when it was approaching me from behind. I didnt realise i had been a target until i turn my head and look at the bike for a glance before i continue walking ahead. Then i suppose they realise i notice their presence so they continue slowly past me then stop a short distance in front of me and just stop their bike. It was then i became alert and realise something is wrong. I started walking slower and when i was within like 10+ metres from the bike, the pillion rider suddenly jump off the bike, unzip his jacket, flash out a parang and came running towards me. The parang was so gleaming that i freaked out and started running back to where i came from. I ran with my life out. I think he just chase a few steps before the other person on the bike shouted and then when i look back after running for few hundred metres realised they had given up to chase me. After that day, my legs ached for almost a week thereafter and got post trauma for several months. Whenever i heard bikes behind me i would jump. Took me quite a while before living out this fear.
:(

I see, not that I don't believe you but you are very 'lucky' to have ran into robbers a few times.
I have been to many part of Malaysia but touch wood it never happen to me. Maybe you look too satki. Since you had those experience its best to avoid backlane next time bah.
