no point. u get SBGE001 is still "just a Seiko". I dunno if you get what i am trying to tell you. It is apparent to me that you are trying to get a watch that is bao ka liao, but your priority to me appears to be brand recognition. In that respect, Rolex is unrivalled, because EVERYONE knows what a Rolex is. If you want to boost your street cred, getting a Rolex is the way to go. Nobody scoffs at a Rolex. Nobody will look down on someone wearing a Rolex (to some extent.) With your mentality, you buy a GS i can foresee that you will regret because nobody can share your joy except watch aficionados.

This guy speaks the truth.

You buying from someone? Get the seller to pay the fee if its fake and he sell it as genuine.

banana king, yea.. u are sharp, saw that i wanted a bao ka liao... :s13: im ngau mah dont want spend, yet want to hoot one gao gao last for years. I get what you mean lar. Let me think about it. Seiko might get the brand recognition in years to come. Maybe invest in its future. U see seiko doing alot on branding now and producing many other products.

if the watch cost 120, most probably its fake... take other bro's advice, so deal at rsc, verify liao then buy.

SAKTI MAX 😲

The side so polished that you could even see the thumbnail reflected on the polished rim!!!!! Super finishing. Now gian liao. Initially thought of giving up go for a customised name tag chain in 916 gold to hang ard my neck. Now having second thoughts again. Tortue.

Awesome to see someone my age that can buy the Grand Seiko. That is supposed to be the snowflake right? But the snowflake nickname is for the white dial, so what is the dark blue dial version known as?

There are different kind of dials for GS. Only some have "special" names (eg. Snowflake, Tatami etc). These are specially treated dials.

Article on different GS
