Hahaha I was just at K2, asking about price of the sea urchin and fifty fathom homage. Told Mr Goh that next time, I will bring the parts for the mods, then he can just do it on the spot and I'll pay for both the watches and mods.

Speaking of Pam, I found a site that does great homages of it with quite a lot of customisation options. Best of all, price is cheap yet still an automatic movement.

I think the first weekend the OT500 touches down at Gnomon, we can organise a mini outing there haha!

Since the hot topic is now on OT500, the movement they use which is the Soprod A10 is said to be based on Seiko 4L75. Everyone praised the 4L75 but I can't even find any articles talking about 4L75. Anyone can share some links or explain how great this movement is? Thanks ah. I've been wearing a Soprod A10 Flieger for a year liao and I still don't know much about A10 or 4L75

Just because it is voted in doesn't mean it will become a drop. Massdrop will still need to go and negotiate with Tudor and see what kind of deal they can agree upon

very vintage, historical looking - I'm they didn't modernize it to a single crown or just a bunch of fonts:

titanium looks good

rugged look, especially with dark titanium oxide surface layer. picks up some patina. best of all it feels warm to the touch compared to cold steel.

hahaha i see i see. anw after coming to this thread and being poisoned i have ordered a blumo from Massdrop! Low wage worker that's why i cannot afford higher end Swiss-made watches.

On a side note, my mom has a v old Seiko watch that requires repair. She brought it to a Seiko boutique and the guy told her that the repair parts are discontinued. The watch has sentimental value to my mom. Any bros here can suggest a solution for this?

I also got poisoned by Massdrop! I have 3 Orients, 2 Bambino and 1 Defender, also bought from Massdrop. There were previously the Seiko SNZF and SNZH drops too. Super tempted to buy them but didn't because I wasn't into divers then. Right now, there is the Sumo for those interested.

tried the damasko today and initially thot the chrono was beautiful

but the true poison was the DA36. too bad the vintage damasko sold out
