This is considered cheap?! In my time, when I enlisted, I bought myself a $23 Casio digital watch

Modern FF use sword hands though.... In terms of styling it's prob closer to the vintage FF, but both are highly poisonous
I was just window shopping at blancpain today, at 45mm it's prob a liiitle too big for my wrist
The Wisma store has both No radiation and aqualung LE

True true, but due to the way that the lume is applied on the hands (not applied to the tips, which remains reflective), it doesn't look like the typical sword hands. I agree with you that 45mm may be too big for me too and can only tell when I try it on

I read in an article that the movement in the FF, the Caliber 1315, is accurate to within 1 second per week. Is that correct?

Haha I remember upon hearing watch isn't an issued item for NSF I went to my dad and "borrowed" his Casio GX56-1A. Haven't returned him ever since

The GX56-1A no joke man. Dad wore for 2 years before passing it to me and I ORD for over a year liao. After all the abuse still going strong

Is wierd how they can issue boots helmets etc but can't spare a cheap casio watch for under $20.

Actually that's very true... They can issue soap, shaver etc... but cannot issue a standardized watch. Those cheap Casio watches can really take a beating, the army should issue something like the Casio F-91W:

Unfortunately, he's not. The first time I tried the IPPT, I got a gold, even in the 18 year old age group. But he failed miserably.

It took me 2 months of almost daily training him to do well enough in IPPT to skip the first 3 months. Then straight after he passed the test, he totally stopped again.

But in any case, he'll be fit in no time...

Not sure about the accuracy, but the 3-barrel 120hr PR is impressive, along with antimagnetic case protection.

The AquaLung LE has got a very nice see thru case back

Wow, that's damn bloody impressive.. in your 40s (presuming your age here) and attaining IPPT gold standard for 18 yr old, regardless 5 stations or 3 stations! Respect max sia!
