Got myself a nomos club 36mm cream dial for almost 3 years. It's my daily beater, even it's full of scratches but still looking like a boss.

Would say it's a pretty versatile watch. One thing many have mentioned is the long lugs that Nomos is (in)famous for, but now that you have tried them on I guess that's one worry less for you. Buy what your heart tells you!

friends I have an itch for the moonwatch, but the thing is, I'm having a hard time justifying the purchase...
a brand new one costs about 6k after discount..
It's manual winding, has absolutely no gold markers or hands, hands are (plastic?) and dial is painted.
definately seems like I can get a better finished and luxurious watch at that price...is this watch really worth it's retail price?

btw, do they even still use this watch for NASA missions nowadays?

He is quoting 700 for it and yeah , it does comes with the box and warranty card but warranty-wise is in house.

which model are you looking at?
classic speedy pro should not cost that much, if not buy 2nd hand... lots of good condition ones around.

Alright so after considering and fidgeting back and forth (Lol) , decided to up my budget to around 2k plus and forgo the thoughts of 7f

Nomos is a good but 2k will just get u entry level ones but great built!

Stowa is another option

It reminds me of the Nezumi Voiture. It's way under your budget though, so I'm not sure how interested you will be in it.

lol no.

look at the difference between retail and used prices to get a sense of overpricing. the new higher priced speedmasters are all marketing - bigger packaging etc. - while the watch remains the same.
