I didn't take a lume shot because it wasn't fully charged but from what I saw, it can fight with your watch.

shall we order together to save on shipping?

I tried adding 2 OT500 to the cart at Steinhart just now, shipping is still at 30 euro. I think if we do a MO, can save on shipping.

Close fight between the BB and MM300 for me.... BB is a more dressy dive watch while MM300 is more functional tool watch so.... I guess it depends on what you already have in your collection. For example, if you already have a dress watch, then maybe the MM300 is better for you and vice versus.

today swapped out the bracelet for the NATO strap

Watch feels totally different.

Black on black doesnt look as good as on the steel bracelet
the upside is the watch feels lighter.

I personally like the look of it with a black Nato strap. But a man's poison is another man's meat.

@xuan87: i went down to gnomon earlier (routine weekend activity) to get some natos and try out the OT500. The manager said the price diff for rubber and bracelet is not gonna be much, at most 20-30.

This should be correct, however on the Steinhart website, the cost between the rubber and bracelet are actually the same......

Thx. I was thinking the same too since still under warranty may as well send for a check

Send back to IWC for servicing since its still under warranty. Let them analyse and see what's the problem.

If you bring to reputable watch repair shops like JW... they will usually tell you that sending to JW to repair will void the warranty (if there's any)

If you're afraid that there will added scratches etc, then take photos n videos of the watch at the point you sent in for servicing.

Hi. Mine is a 5009. Do u think 48s faster over 5 days & 14hrs is normal or not? u sent ur watch to IWC boutique at Ion or MBS or through AD? Service centre is Richemont? Lastly, is it just for normal servicing and how long was the turnaround time? Sorry for so many questions.

Hi there. Sent my 5004 BP for servicing just this year at IWC. Service is professional. Mine was after warranty.
$1500 lobang in my pocket after.

My advice.. Send in before yours expires!

I sent mine thru the boutique at MBS.
Took abt 6 weeks.

BP has tendency to run faster esp when new due to the 8 day power reserve. Go for servicing.. they can tune it for u.

on value and build quality - the MM300 if you asked me. you really need to hold it in the flesh to appreciate the heft, the sapphire bezel, that curved crystal and the depth of the design from bezel through the chapter ring, hands, applied markers that make the black matt dial just look like an abyss.

it sits tall though, but unless you are in a stuffy job where dress protocols needs to be respected, i think its a very versatile watch and looks great in most work places in Singapore.

SBDX012 would be a closer match to the BB with the gold accents
MM300 would be my choice for a tool watch
but I think BB is more versatile for everyday wear as it sits flatter on the wrist and looks more refined
also depends if you are a brand *****

不过，问题黎囖。保修单要放边個嘅名咧？
Chckout时，你订嘅表，只能经过一個户口送到一個地址喔。。。如果要lonbang嘅话，最好同STEINHART了解保修点分先。

I totally forgot about the SBDX012 lol. Most of the 300 I've seen are the silver accent one. You're right, the SBDX012 is more dressier due to the gold accent, something for me to keep in mind for the future.

I was made confused by Henabi's posts. I think he made a typo and said can't instead of can. You made a good point about warranty though.

Damasko for durability, Tudor for brand conscious people ba imho.

I would pick the Damasko due to their durability. Since you are looking at Damasko did you look at the DA46/DA47? I mean first 2 choices were divers mah haha.
