Is this watch worth it? I was thinking of hooting one but I am keeping my options open and did you hoot at gnomon or directly from steinhart?

Definitely worth it for the price paid because it's made from titanium, has a Soprod A10 movement with see through caseback, BWG9 lume and a refreshing Sub homage design. Oh I forgot to mention the water resistance of 500m cos I don't dive or do water sport, but still good to have.

Bought from Steinhart with free rubber strap!

Was in Hong Kong last month looking for the Tudor pelagos, found that it was cheaper in Singapore, which is silly considering that there is no gst in HK

I agree, I was in HK 2 weeks ago. Plenty of watches to see but in general, prices in Singapore are better. They are also not willing to give much discount.

Where is the best place to purchase this at lowest cost? I travel occasionally to Malaysia, Japan, or Korea, but I’m not sure what the prices are, as I just started my search.
Also, what are the general negotiation tactics? How to get the biggest discount, and what would that be?

Which model are you specifically looking at? i realised that in Japan, omega price from 2nd hand shop like jackroad is very competitive. am going there to have a look when i go tokyo later this week..

Basically the newer ones, and was seeing some of them on ebay, mostly is "one owner only, likely used, only trading in cause want the latest" that kind.

What is tag normal vendor discount?

From an AD, starts from 15%, climbs to 20% if serious on it that day.

The 5% component comes in different form, some is give straight, some just call it a GST off sale.

Don't think it's black stain? Probably more a case of uneven luminova?

Anyway if u literally just bought it, like within a few days, bring it back and question the boutique.

If it really irks you to the extent that u want a refund, I believe they would entertain, assuming it's still in the same condition as when you bought it.

If so, then demand a 1-1 exchange... SA cannot then speak with Manager...

Manager cannot. go higher... keep escalating until someone higher say change!

yes,now that i check,is also visible without the lume,where to check whether lemon law can come into effect anot?they just ask me to bring warranty card down,if i insist on one on one exchange do i need to bring the whole set down including the box?
