Lol. That's why most girls prefer to wear quartz watches..
還有一樣,為什麼女生愛上DW錶的關系。。。你只要去MUSTAFA的GUCCI錶專櫃看一看中間那一排就有些概念了。。。
DW簡直就是向GUCCI設計致敬!

$12k RRP for GMT2c? Cannot be...

It was previously retailing at $10,980... even after the (3%?) increase in Oct (according to some forumers), it's still < $11.5k... the Submariner Date's new RRP is $11.4k or so.

But then again, some forumers said it's still $10,980. I didn't follow up with the prices though.

And... the GMT2c is slightly cheaper than the Sub Date.

Grey dealers are people who bring in watches from overseas; I've seen BNIB GMT2c going for < $10k... with 5 years wrty (green hang-tag). Warranty-wise is the same - International wrty for Rolex.
Thanks for your insight on the grey sets. Think i will stick to AD for my first piece.

I may be wrong cos I was quoted nett price. I hope $10,500 is okay for GMT 2c.

Try to squeeze the AD to sell it to you at $10k.. Since you're buying two watches!

Actually on my part I also didn't plan properly la. Usually for girls to pluck out the crown and wind, their nail either crack or manicure chui or what etc. So yea, will still buy watches for her but this time go for quartz route liao :s13:

Better check with your BF if he is ok with an automatic watch. Bought my GF one, she couldn't really appreciate it and everytime go out shopping need to help her to adjust date and wind up the watch etc before she would wear it :s13:

Because most people are not used to thinking that a timekeeping device actually stops after not touching it for a while. Most clocks, even those cheap $5 Quartz clocks run for months without any problems.

Even the $5 watch from Bugis Village won't stop when left there for 3 days, why does my $500 watch stop itself?? Depends on whether the watch is a tool or a jewellery to the user, as many have said.
