any watch to recommend under 500? no preference for auto or mech. was eyeing tissot quickster (people's complex selling at 520 for the chrono version)

something of a dress watch. looking to either use a leather or NATO strap. no preference for country of manufacture as long as the quality is there. and since i'm heading to Aus for a couple of years, will be good if there's international warranty.

日本表，无论 精工，星辰，东方，敖霸，卡西欧。。。保修通常都局限于本地。
那么你也就只有剩下瑞士表，尤其SWATCH集团产品可选了。

机械表方面，以你的500块预算限制，除非你是上网网购，本地市场你是很难买得到500块以下，又可维修的机械表了。。。。价格介于200~300的SWATCH自动表除外。但是后者防水度不高，更不适合游泳了。

电子表方面，SUUNTO或者有些款式能够达到你的预算，也有国际保修。不过500以下的，只有全天候防水，不能游泳。表带更换，更是难上加难。

石英表方面，以你500预算来看，能够防水至可游泳程度的，唯有TISSOT了。建议你选择方面，以表壳大小，表冠是否能锁紧，来衡量可防水多深来决定是否是你要的那款“粗用”表了。
若是不必防水的话，HAMILTON或者有几款能达到你的要求。

设计上能够做随性服装配搭，又能在正式场合穿戴。。。我想来想去也就只有这经典赛车主题款式了。。。

出席约会宴会，或者商务会议时，套上原装刚带就会显得正式些。
其他非正式活动，换上皮带，NATO尼龙带，就会带出随性的一面。

像这样有外圈的。。。阳刚，活泼，运动味就比较重。

但是，有时如果换上皮带的话“野性味”或者会减弱一些。

再到SWATCH授权经销商那里，讨价还价，看看是否能以MUSTAFA的价格，撞掉多几张红钞可否。
