its lug to lug (top to bottom) measurement that matters for me.

Yes you're right, the lug to lug is definitely important too, but the case size tells me of how much.... "presence" it has on my wrist, if that makes any sense hahaha.

Chilling at toast box after a job interview with my OT500! Hopefully it'll bring me luck. My crown is currently upright against my arm.

Mine is at 10 O'clock position......

never screw down completely?

Steinhart actually took extra steps to re-align the crown so that when it is screwed down fully, the Steinhart logo is upright

I think Rolex also does that. Any other brands similar to this ?

Mine too :(

but xuan87 is pointing upright :o

***sigh***

I thought Rolex crown always vertically to surface.
I mean pointing at 3 o' clock

Oops my bad.... My OT500's crown is also not upright too.... The first time when I replied on this topic, I took a quick glance and saw that it was upright..... but not fully tightened :o After fully tightening, no mater what position the crown is in when I first started tightening, it looks like this:

Oh also I saw a tom boyish lady wearing a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona on the train this morning. Not pro and too far away to tell if it was real, but the stainless steel case was very shiny and caught my eye.

Other steinhart watches the dial position is random

My ocean one crown when fully screwed down is between 4pm to 5pm position.

Not swee swee at 12pm lah. But it's supposed to be upright. Probably between 11 o clock to 1o clock position...

I think it's more for people who are very paricular about this kinda things.

For rolex...if you have a rolex whereby the crown position is different from others....
well... the value of that watch in the resell market might be much higher than the rest
