Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a watch under $500. Was wondering if the pros here could provide some advice! Wouldn't want to overpay for a watch heh.

I'm looking for one with a leather strap. Preferably with a round face.

I've seen many people wearing Sovil et Tituswatches nowadays, is it worth the price?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm that won't be the most durable, established watch brand at that pricing.

I would suggest Orient Bambino, classy with leather and suitable for work, less than 200 only. Can buy 2 and rotate around.

Orient is a much established watchmaker, especially for automatic watches below 1k, Japan and made in house with rich history.

Thanks!! I guess for under $500, the Bambino is the best?

Any recommendations on shops? How much is the v3?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hmm. Looks nice heh. Trying to keep it below $500 though.. Quick question, can I get a good Swiss made watch for under $500? Or can I get a Hamilton watch for under $500?

Thanks in advance again! Sorry for all the questions heh.

Swiss doesn't mean Jack **** at that price. Better to get a seiko. The cocktail time is a very handsome watch.

Like what Donten said. If you really want 'Swiss Made', I would recommend Steinhart, but you need to up budget a little.

Otherwise I would go for Seiko Alphinist.
