Possible to get brand new for less than 40k?
No need to be from AD.

I bought mine from a grey dealer (sealed) in May 2015 for $38k. Maybe the price has gone up, I dunno.

But once I decided to buy a 5712, I hawked over every website, grey dealer sites I knew. And finally caught one that the asking price was lower than usual and bargained down from there.

I think it's still possible, but diligence and patience is required.

Very difficult.. Even grey also selling at this price or some even higher. 5167, 5711 same..dealers selling above AD price. If u can find below 40 brand new let me know I grab.

Cheaper than getting from boutique in SG, have not seen any ADs carrying this yet...

I would have got it locally if our grey dealers had any stocks, but I guess profit margins for Tag Heuer timepieces are not fantastic enough...
