How sure how many of you have seen the new Eagle pilot watch from Zelos Watch, currently on pre-order:

Personally I'm a huge fan of this modern take of a pilot watch. The preorder price seems extremely fair to me.

Unfortunately I have to forgo this opportunity as my wallet is still in the deep red :(

This is a nice piece.

The bronze piece looks awesome. Will it develop patina?

Personally, I'll get the Seiko MM300 from Carousell for $2020 as opposed to the Oris 65 at $1.9k.

MM300 is an excellent watch but iirc, it can only be service in Jeepun. Movement has to be remove from front due to the one-piece case design.

Been reading around online, apparently there isn't anything special about the MM300 that you die die have to send back to Japan for servicing. K2 might be able to do it and definitely at a more reasonable cost.

I was having coffee near my office once and these three gentlemen shared the table with me. It happened to be the Zelos owner and his friends. He shared some of his new watches with me as well. They look stunning. The watches I meant.

Hi guys, I've been thinking of thinning my herd. Since I have 2 omegas in my collection, I'm thinking of letting go one of them. Between these 2, which one would you let go and why?

I will keep the snoopy as its value may appreciate since its limited edition and the market value is quite high now

The pre-order prices are at a huge discount to the retail price too!

haha, not true. i know the ap ro dual time movement is based on jlc889, also used in the vacheron constantin overseas dual time.
Give chance lah, AP has huge stake in Jaeger-LeCoultre. Even the Jumbo 2121 movement is based on a JLC movement...

That's some seriously bad customer service. I feel for you bro.

Off topic, but reminds me of the Porsche showroom. I popped in, the sales personnel scanned my wife and I from head to toe not once but THRICE.

I smiled at them, they nodded while looking at my wife's shoes and my watch; sat there (all four of them) before deciding it wasn't worth the effort to get up and talk to us.

Great ambassadors of the brand.

Strange, went to Porsche but the sales team was pretty friendly despite knowing that I'm just driving another car under the same distributor. In fact they were quite keen to sell, texting me monthly for 4 months lol!
