For those who like thick and heavier watch... almost all watch makers able to do thick movements but only a few can do thin movements thus thin and light watches.. This is one of Patek's values and vision thus they dun do big and thick watches.

This few weeks got me interested in replica watches.. a sensitive subject here.. .. i wanna see how good they are and 1 thing they cant get it right is the finishing (movements) and the thinness.. For case and exterior i can said some are almost there.. Thus Panerai, AP ROO and Rolex has the most close to perfection replica. Nope i am not wasting money on any of them. Rather get a seiko.

AP has a great history, but I feel they've squandered a lot of their "classiness" away with countless over the top, blinged out, oversized, celebrity endorsed ROO's.

Hence at the end of the day, I couldn't bring myself to buy my long time favorite RO. Today, I'd rather buy any Rolex than an AP, and I feel rather sad about it.

rolex they already R&D damn long already. movement always is chinese clone. but those who buy those care about the look than movement.

pam is pretty easy due to the case shape, for the luminor case. however, a pro teach me saying those rep can never replicate the engravings or etching behind the case back.

also another method to see fake pam, they always have the same serial number and year made

speaking of replica, i used to own a Grade AAA Patek that I bought from Guangzhou for SGD60. I was only Secondary 2 then and didnt know what a atas brand Patek was, just that i freaking love the design of it..

thinking back, it is quite weird to see a secondary 2 boy wearing a Patek, boarding the bus and tapping his Alien Workshop Wallet.. haha

Thats what differentiate Patek to AP... AP anytime i can get 30% off.. Patek very hard for discount. But i still loves their RO series.. Their RO stainless steel bracelet is one of their iconic trademark.

abt 47K for leather strap and 52k for stainless steel strap.

The 5726 is from nautilus family too... infact out of the 4 watches the 5712 retail price is the cheapest and the thinnest of the 4 watches.
