Guys do you think it's worth it to get a Cartier tank quartz?

there's two decisions here: cartier tank (brand/design) and quartz (movement).

i don't have a cartier and won't mind one (especially the sporty ones), but nothing in cartier's lineup that is quartz-driven interests me.

my wife has a cartier tank quartz and she loves it; I can understand why.

for me regarding quartz - i'd rather go for a seiko or citizen high accuracy, or one one of those amazing fuss free solar + gps.

You can understand why your wife loves it, do you mean it's because of the looks?

I'f I do get one it will be solely for the looks. Been looking for a dress watch for some time and not many designs appeal to me. Guess I'm not really a dress watch kinda person but still need one for some occasions. So far all my watches are sports models

My wife prefers her Quartz Tag to lady's Rolex cos it's hassle free... No need to wind and adjust the date and time...

Personally as a dress watch, i like the quartz one (no seconds hand). It is clean design and perfect under your suit / tux

As a watch whether for this quartz or the automatic - most of your money is going to the brand (and lovely classic red Cartier box)

If you want bang for you buck (specs over brand) - you can do better elsewhere. For me, i chose the Reverso ultimately.

A woman wearing any Cartier is classy. A man wearing a Cartier shows he has appreciation for a piece of jewellery with a good brand name.

Usually it is very personal decision, if you like it - get it.

looks, brand, as well as being ladylike thin and fuss-free.
also painted nails and pull out crowns don't go well together.

just sharing, though most of you would have known already :D

Do not change the calendar between 9:00 P.M. and 4:00 A.M, as it may not change
properly. If it is necessary to set the calendar during that time period, first change the
time to any time outside those hours, set the calendar and then reset the correct time

*cause i was trying to change the date this morning, so chanced upon it*
