Vintage. Very hard unless you know where to dig.
If not Standard issue is pretty easy to find.

Vintage rolex can be found but the prices are pretty steep.
Found this during my trip there. Not vintage but definitely a discon classic from omega for less than 2k.

i've been seriously lusting after this watch the moment i laid eyes on its pictures the very first time. it was its large triangle at 12 o'clock that first caught my eye. the rest of it's very considerable charm just follows, especially in the metal...

i finally snagged one recently in near mint condition after drooling over my folder of its downloaded photos & youtube videos for ages, and it's been on my wrists ever since! (don't you worry, my iconic orange monster and other watches, i still love you heheh).

mine is also for less than 2k after some amicable negotiation! at this price, how can anyone say no?!

the serial number of mine is 8136xxxx (c.2007) - it says so on the lug under 7 o'clock - and more importantly - on the movement itself as well! (important tip for buyers out there: open up the caseback to ensure matching serial numbers on both lug & movement) plus the seconds hand on mine is still in pristine red, with its bracelet clasp and diving extension closing crisply!

my omega seamaster professional chronometer 2254.50 says hi!

here's why i feel it is such a winner:

- a sexy, unique wave dial that subtly shimmers under lighting on close examination (you just can't stop admiring it) with matching wave engraved case back!
- bold sword hour and minute hands.
- a sporty red-tipped lollipop seconds hand.
- minute and seconds hands that reaches all the way into the chapter ring, precisely marking off the seconds and minutes without guesswork that makes it real easy to read of the time! few watches do that now.
- an iconic large triangle at 12 o'clock.
- the large surface areas of its hands and hour markers has generous amounts of long lasting lume that can go toe to toe with the iconic seiko orange monster, making it easy to read at a glance.
- a rated 300m diver (means it can take a beating).
- a manly size at 41mm diameter but with a 11.5mm sveltness and profile slim enough to slip unobtrusively under a shirt cuff that doesn't scream "tool watch".
- an iconic scalloped bezel.
- a low profile bezel lume pip that won't get knocked off.
- full minute markings on bezel.
- an iconic helium escape valve.
- iconic sculptured crown guards that flows round the crown, mirroring the scalloped edges of its bezel.
- dial symmetry preserved with lume hour marker at 3 o'clock and white on black date window merging into dial (yes!).

its not mistaken for a rolex homage like many do because it got a style of its own.
the dial with wavy lines just hit the spot.
bracelet solid.
i like mine with faded red/orange tip

Bro u nailed it... 2254.50 is the only watch I know that many watch lovers loves on first sight. I got mine while accompanied a friend's auntie to buy rolex. Just some ssrr only, me and my friend bth liaoz. We both got the same watch.. His a quartz.. Cause he can't get pass paying another $500 for auto even after the long persuasion of the AD and me. Later on I got to know another colleague of mine also has the same watch. He watch lover too..

Too bad omega discontinued this handsome design with one of the most proven reliable and accurate movement ..
