$_12.JPG

http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/MOVEMENT...S-MADE-/141469813084?var=&hash=item6696ff0ee6

Wow... Luckily I had my sunglasses on! 😎

or too heavy, break his neck.

this kind is best don't buy anything. a company's nightmare.
jialat consumer.

he is the kind that when ordering cai png, when its his turn, then he start thinking about what to order for his plate, then ask 10001 questions before confirming...

then when paying, will slowly dig all the coins and give the cashier...

and continue standing there whilst carefully keeping back his money in the correct compartment of his wallet

Diam lar. I need to clarify something before i hoot. Im confused here. Ytd that shop guy told me black bay black is discontinued. Not sure if i heard correct or not. The older version is eta movement with 38hrs power reserve. Is there a newer updated 2016 version of black bay black with in-house movement and 70hrs power reserve? Website put got updated version. Makes me wonder if the salesman knows his stuff or not. Will go down to ask him again. New one should be shield logo with the word chronometer right? Pls correct me if wrong.

From when I start read watch forum until now, eta vs in-house topic never stop... I realize that the only difference of the eta vs in-house it is $$!
Eta = easier to service means cheap
In-house = must return to them for the service means expensive

Accuracy = both also can get cosc
Like some brand they no have cosc doesn't means bo chun, my IWC eta7750 4 mths slow 35 seconds, last time I check -1s per day.

So from now what I see, how much budget will u like to spend, if u really love the design u won't bother the movement, if u have extra just go in-house, take in-house like a brand respect, but if u don't want to spend too much just go with eta.
Just like me, poor guy so choose IWC eta7750 (don't laugh, it is true)

hahaha he won't order at all. he will ask questions. then scare later not fresh, not hot, not spicy, not salty, not sweet, got poison. then end up walk away and watch people enjoy their food.
cause end of the whole ordeal, he doesn't have the money to eat.

that's pretty sad.

Thanks for explaination. Think that settled my decision liao. Going for the old eta version with rose logo and no "chronometer" word. There is difference though. Only 38hrs power reserve compared to 70hrs.

ETA vs In-house movement should not be critical, especially for entry level mechanical type watches. My only advice is that, if it's ETA - doesn't make it "inferior". If it's in-house, doesn't make it "superior"

师兄愿意多付600美元买张“天文台认证”报生纸?

还有70hrs power reserve. 多了32小时。不值吗? 还是in-house movement 上一个档次。不是这样理解吗? 只是维修费会贵。。。

Congrats Seannie!

Now awaiting your GPGT of your hoot, and hopefully not another twist to why you cannot/did not buy (which would be entertaining, nevertheless!)

Don't bother the power reserve, if u have only one and wear everyday, 100hrs power reserve also no use to u; if u have more than two, 10hrs also doesn't matter

My IWC 3777 (same one right) is also very accurate!!! Do you know it's a very "well known" watch (not my watch though) in The Watch Thread?!
