Hi guys, let's say if you're planning to get a watch and you have 2 options.

1. Get from Europe AD. Watch will be shipped to Singapore via DHL.

2. Get from Singapore AD.

If buy from Europe AD, total you can save about SGD 123 after adding in 7% gst tax for both transactions.

Which one would you go for?

Depends on the percentage of that $123 vs the watch. If its not huge then rather get from singapore. My risk premium quite high one :D

You go Kino buy one of the Japanese watch mooks like Real Rolex, or Power Watch. Or something like that.

Inside their back pages is full of dealer directories. Big names all, advertising their product, and with prices. Very good gauge on current grey value.

I take photo of an example later after work.

JackRoad is one of the more famous watch shop in Tokyo. You cannot get wrong there. Only thing for me is that it is abit out of the way.
I prefer to go to housekihiroba. It's in Shibuya. Can shop for other stuff too. I bought my Grand Seiko there
