Have a question on omega warranty... If the 'red dot' seal is broken, does it mean warranty is voided?

TGIF! Taking my Seiko shrouded diver for a spin after its return from the warranty service. Going to check if its problem of low power reserve have been resolved.

After that, I might send this watch off to be modded. What do you think of a matte black bezel with grey markers, matte grey shroud and matte black bolts?

Isn't this actually a helpful feature for a traveler this may cross between datelines frequently? Easier to set time and date since you may need to go forward and reverse quite often...

Most GMT are like that, right?

Explorer II doesn't have the quick date that works like how it does in Sub and Datejusts but you can set the date by adjusting the hour hand only w/o the minute hand moving, albeit hour hand needs to rotate 24hours for each date change.

Hmm IMO the dial looks too busy.. Were you the one who wanted to buy a speedy?

Yes it is helpful indeed. Just pointing out with respect to previous comment that there is no quickset date feature which is not entirely accurate.

I will consider the GMT as having a modified quickset that's not so quick, but still an improvement from having to require both hour and minute hands to turn to effect date changes.

Hi guys, I've been thinking of thinning my herd. Since I have 2 omegas in my collection, I'm thinking of letting go one of them. Between these 2, which one would you let go and why?

if it were me, i'd drop the snoopy.
not a fan of cute designs for watches at this price range ;)
