Hello! Zelos founder here :) I do the design but production is outsourced to China as there's no other option for a similar price range. Even the 'swiss made' stuff in the lower range is China made as well haha. The important part is the miyota movement which ensures reliability!

销售员会那么说，并不怎么稀奇呀？
一般买表者都不会对表盘下的机芯不怎么了解。只有少数的集表者才会对表盘下的机芯是什么才有兴趣，因为这关乎保修期过后的维修与保养，部件是否便宜，又容易找。

在ETA这个名词没被广泛使用前，极少买中档，中高档品牌的人，往往不会怎么去理会什么ETA，什么Valjoux，什么Unitas。买得了贵表，买得了品牌，就是好货。
现在一经媒体广泛的报道，或多或少会有些人开始认识ETA这个“品牌”。买表时自然会提到，问到。那么他们又是否知道Sellitas曾经是ETA的代工产商咧？就因为少人知道，卖家，还是无知的新玩家就会误以为Sellitas是瑞士的“山寨”产商。。。

销售员为了尽快与你达成交易，就会以ETA制造引开消费者注意。
“别再问了，尽快抽出你的卡，完成交易吧！”

I have met such sales person before at bencoolen. One such incident was last month when I was shopping for a birthday watch with my wife for her best friend...

Her friend like ingersoll watches, so I started ask questions"
First question: "quartz or automatic"
Answer: Auto
then he added "Japanese movt"

Instantly I asked: "Miyota?"

The guy kept saying japanese movt.

Pissed. I told my wife to walk away from that shop.

Cuz I know ingersoll uses seagull

Just to add on to Elshan ;)

Swiss-made watches means 60% of the components of Swiss manufacture account for at least 50 percent of the total value, without taking into account the cost of assembly.

In other words you might be buying a watch brand that claims swiss made, but inside it may be made of up to 40% value of Chinese parts inside :s22:
