Wonder will this phone still drop price or worth anot. Thinking to get it.

I don't think the phone will drop its price anymore as it's already dam bloody cheap with god like specs.

I got the phone for 2 days and here are my opinions:

Pros>>
- Solid build
- Simple and nice looking design
- Beautiful screen
- Ultra smooth UI
- Highly customizable UI

Cons>>
- IOS Like UI
- Auto focus tend to be slower
- Poor build speaker
- Lack of LTE

after switching between my Note 3 and this. I finally decided to stay with my Mi3. Even bought a few casing from Qoo10. Other than withdrawal symptom due to a slightly smaller screen, the Mi3 beats the hell outta my Note 3.

It's definitely a keeper. Also had Redmi for comparison. Other than the dual sim card, this is a no brainer @ $339.

Hello guys,
Is it possible to put mi3 into 2G mode so that it does not consume that much battery compared to 3G?

Maybe will drop when MI-3S is announced :s12:, but Xiaomi doesn't hold stock so even if there is a "clear stock" discount sale, it will be very short.:s13:

I do.. quite surprising though. I thought it will be screaming fast based on the antutu benchmarks but in actual fact it's not really that fast.. it is faster than the note 3 though, but slower than the Find 7a.

When its 2G, it is just a phone... (no web access)
u could blocklist to stop apps frm access thus save juice

I thought 2g got GPRS?

That's correct, data is still available. Appears as G on my Samsung phone.

Max. speeds are much slower but I find it uses a lot less power. I leave my phone on 2G most of the time, perfect for WhatsApp and other messaging apps and for notifications. They use less data and I find the latency of 2G much better than 3G.

However, not really suitable for web browsing or data heavy apps, then I switch to 3G.

Any Mi3 user face the same issue as me. Apparently all whatapps last seen is not showing in my Mi3 but showing in other Andriod brand phone. Could it be a bug?
