That is a common problem. My stock from China all have the same issues.

Think prepaid is for redmi only + u will nees to buy a prepaid $15 number. No easy way of buying at the same price as xiaomi

SingTel sells the RedMi and Mi 3 at Xiaomi's retail prices. You have to purchase a $15 prepaid card. Perhaps your friends or helper can buy over the prepaid card?

Hi fellow mi fans, just like to check if it's okay for me to install the recent update MIUI JXDSGBD13.0 on my mi3? Very scared to update to the latest software as previously after I installed a new update on my s3, the whole phone just went bogus(can't detect SIM card after that) so I'm afraid the same may happen since both are android os. Need some professional advices on this tq!

fone cam definitely got prob. go xiaomi repair centre to get it service asap, not sure if they willing to 1 to 1 exchange?

Which outlet quoted you? I went to Bugis, Bedok Mall, Tampines and Parkway Parade, all 4 outlets quoted me $339 + $15 prepaid card.
