The Xiaomi Mi3 thread

Wah, a 3g phone can have so much demand? I thought the lte Mi3s version is goin to debut next mth with better specs too, so mi waiting for this model.

Mi3S likely will start selling in China, rumoured to be ard April to May. I reckon it will reach here around July. It is also a mid-life upgrade before Mi4 kicks in around Oct(estimated).

Why Oct is becos Mi3 was release in China ard Sept last year. Mi4 will also have to compete in the new era of phones with 2k display, 3gb rams, 16mp cam and etc.

Other phone companies(eg Samsung, Sony, HTC) will likely release their high end phones before Christmas to capture USA/Europe market so I think Xiaomi wont want to be left out of the game too>

Anyway no point waiting for IT advancement as it is always ongoing. Buy now then just nice Mi4 comes out can buy again since its quite affordable

I thought only it will change to the new plan only if u recontract.

FYI, your 12Gb will auto upgrade to the new one once the contract ends. please check with your telco.

my son's plan was upgraded once the contract ended and was not able to retain the same contract.

now he's only having 2Gb data

Wa Lau my plan expired long time never reconstract now still at 12GB song song no sweat!

Is it confirmed by Xiaomi? Don't think the phone for deleted orders will be sold today as they'll need sometime to confirm the details etc for the first redmi launch the sakw took place a few days later?

heard it was the same practice during the redmi launch....some people really managed to get their orders on 2nd day 12noon. Worth checking it out!

That's good. But frankly when I think about it. Maybe better to just re contract an iPhone. The additional 10GB data I'm missing won't really cost me much ($42.80 based on starhub's rate) and that's assuming I even use the additional 12GB. But if I can make $800 or so by recontracting an iphone to resell, then I'm "covered".

Makes sense?

Next week, they are opening sales for Hongmi. I guess the week after it would open for Mi3.
