after playing around with Mi3, i've decided to switch back to my note 3. Other than a bigger screen. I miss the fast UI. My aging eyes still prefers bigger screen.

Was a Samsung user myself and i understand perfectly what u meant now.

The closest calendar i could find was the aCalendar from Play Store. It allows u to see all your events in each individual day boxes even in month view.

ah, great that you got it! Sorry, it must be my lack of language capabilities. Anyhow, I tried it - still no clickable days on the widget, so that's quite dismal too.

Low volume on Mi3

Hi,

I have been using Mi3 for about more than 6 weeks now.
After installing aCalendar, I am 99% satisfied.

But I have not been able to resolve the low volume when using the phone (with or without ear piece).
Have tried checking the hardware settings (*#*#64663#*#), but could not figure out how to make any adjustments

Can anyone advise ?

did anyone manage to login to i.xiaomi.com recently? i had registered with email but now it insists on verifying phone and when i entered in +65xxx format it says the number is already taken by another mi id. if i enter in 65xxx format, the sms verification never arrives. thanks.

login to mi.com and add phone. verify from there and just use phone to login

I also had this issue with both my redmi and my mi3...
someone in this forum asked me to place the top of my phone at maybe the halfway mark on my ear and the volume will be better.

tried that and it seemed to work, don't know is it my mind playing tricks on me lol

note 3 has fast UI? sure or not? touchwiz is a lagfest compared to other custom UIs. I compared note 3 vs the MI3 before and note 3 is slower leh.

And if I on loudspeaker, it works. When I off and try to hear from phone I cannot hear anything. :-( Anybody got any solutions?

I tried both solution but still no sound. But when attached to earpiece I can hear from ear piece.

Tried to restart also but cannot.

Bring your phone to Xiaomi service center at Central. I sent mine in bcos cannot hear people talking, only loudspeaker can hear. Queue was short and they replaced the receiver and returned the phone to me within 1 hour. Really fast.

you all know the lock screen you can slide up down left right to open diff thing right? this one can change anot ah?

SG purchased Mi3 should have Google Store pre-installed. So yes, it will work as per normal Android phone.
