Arguably the best service centre in Singapore

Went down to service centre today with receipt. Showed them the receipt and got a 1 to 1 exchange for the receiver problem as it's within 7 days.

Thumbs up for the quick and smooth service to Xiaomi.

Almost forgot to remove my screen protector.

I dropped my phone on Saturday - sian - no cover. Slight dent on corner, screen ok. However, wouldn't power on. Took to Central yesterday and collected back today (my choice) the same set with a new motherboard. "The old one had worked loose, sorry lost your data".

Thankfully with the MiCloud sycing, I lost nothing and no charge as under warranty. The guy, (Bruce See I think) is absolutely first class. Professional, knowledgable, no BS and very on-the-ball - light years ahead of similar experiences I've had at the Samsung or LG centres.
Big thumbs up for Xioami.

just 1 question to all the mi3 user....did you use lock screen on your mi3..if yes...did you find that sometimes your mi3 is very hard to trace the pattern u draw on the screen? sometimes..i try a lot a lot of time still unable to unlock due to the screen not able to connect the pattern i draw to unlock..

at the end..i will have to off screen and start the unlock again..

anyone have the similar experience with me? ..

could it be td version and wcdma version has 2 different code name ?

yes, there are different codenames
WCDMA version of redmi note; codename 2013121
TD-SCDMA version of redmi note; codename 2013122

in anycase, suppliers will not bring in TD-SCDMA phones for IDA approval, as only these phones will only be able to use 2G in singapore

p.s. for people thinking of buying from china, please don't buy the wrong version, look for the 联通版

Cos mine is already updated to the latest and is still on v4.3 JB. While the article below says v4.4 KK is released.

after checking my issue on miui forum..i think i temporary fix my touch screen issue....hopefully it wouldnt come back again

MIUI ROM for Xiaomi Mi3 - MIUI Downloads - MIUI Official Community

Stable version is still on 4.3. 4.4 kk is developer version, which is updated every Friday evening. It is for China market and does not come with google play store.

You can also get the multi-language version with google play store included from here: MIUI Weekly ROM Releases | Unofficial International MIUI / Xiaomi Phone Support (usually a day after the china version is out)

TD is for a different network in China. For Singapore, we have to use WCDMA version.

couple days ago i flashed miui_MI3W_4.5.30_3c1dad6815_4.4 (developer version) to get root access. however some apps were buggy and i cant seem to flash miui_MI3WSG_JXDSGBD14.0_92eb21fa75_4.3 (sg stable rom) using the updater.

Just bought a mi3 for my mum, she is using Samsung S2(forgot what version).

Is there any website or thread that I can take a look to assist her on the transfer?

I using Iphone all along.. I am an android bai chi.. please help..

What did you do to resolve this problem? Sometimes, my mi3's screen isn't responding accurately. I have to reboot my phone to solve the issue.

dial this on your phone *#*#64663#*#*

then go to no.12....then press the menu to go for calibration mode...let the calibration run until it calibration successful..ur touch screen shd be now back to normal ..

something weird is happening.
under the get ROM webpage, when I click the mi3-wcdma Singapore, nothing happens..

tried it on both my phone and PC.. wonder what's wrong w the website..

oh clicked English version of the webpage and now it works..

nope still no dev version of KitKat for SG...
