DHT is in the blood circulation, no way Nizoral can zap on the DHT.
I doubt Nizoral can control DHT, its patented action is a specific fungi agent that target on a type of fungi that result in dandruff. I will just recommend H&S (used a Zinc compound as its active agent) as it is cheaper, nowadays like $10 for 750mL.

Think you should try NIOXIN system 2 shampoo.... Not easily available in Singapore, but you could try this salon at aldelphi (opp. funan). It's supposed to topically remove DHT from scalp... I used it before, and it seemed to help... then I stopped because it's 5 times more expensive than normal shampoo... (maybe more). Now, I'm back because I convinced I'm suffering from early stage MPB.

Try googling for "NIOXIN" if you're looking for a DHT remover (as it claims to be). I believe Nizoral is only for problem scalp with dandruff problems... My scalp is very clean (I can assure that because I go for yu***m and BJ101 type treatment... All I can say that it'll cleanse your scalp... But remember, for MPB, DHT is still present in your bloodstream... Either you remove topically (NIOXIN), and/or through finasteride (or other drugs/supplements), I don't think a clean scalp is enough to stop MPB. IMO.

How much will the comb cost ? I might like to get one too. In Singapore, there is a distributor for Hairmax Lasercomb, but very expensive. Actually last week I intent to get one, but after reading from some negetive feedback, I decided not to. Don't know whether it really works or not

Been using Propecia since Feb 2006. Switched to it after using Minoxidil for a year. Both doesn't seem to improve my condition... maybe I should switch to 101?

I feel oily scalp plays a part in hair loss (contrary to what the docs at Skin Centre tell you).

Well, at least you're maintaining your hair right? Not losing as much... I think you should go to yunnam or bj101 for the most basic cleansing programme, and then continue propecia and minoxidil...

Get rid of the oily scalp problem, and then tackle the DHT problem... That should help you.

I'm only 25 but my hairline has already receded till so high. i always tried to ignore it because i tot hereditary hair loss can't be helped. But once my crown started to bald i decided enough was enough and i am trying to control it. Really damn terok, when i was studying in NTU, i took a cab there and the uncle ask me which subject i am teaching. Now i start working ppl always ask me like i work at my place for many years liao even though i only graduate in 2005.

I am going to buy the lazercomb together with leonard. Also, i paid for 24 times treatment at Jean Yip (abit regret but paid before i came across this forum so no choice). I just bought nizoral 2% yesterday from guardian as they say 1% out of stock for many months liao.

Anyone got lobang for proscar or regaine foam please let me know as i want to get started on the regime soon. Thanks alot!

Seem that so many people bought laser comb. I suggest u to ask for the reviews of laser comb in this thread.

Hello i just went to see a doctor for my hair problems and i got a shocking info about proscar.

I asked for a prescription for it and the doctor told me its other name is Finasteride 5mg/day.

The counter auntie insisted i take on propecia because taking Finasteride will make me IMPOTENT! (SIDE EFFECT).

When i told her i can cut into 1mg and consume she insisst i will still be impotent as long as i consume proscar and finasteride.

Can someone pro check on this to see if its true because the auntie seems very F**k up to me cause she insisted on me taking propecia claiming its the other name for proscar untill i scold her and ask her to check with the doctor.

Btw after seeing a doctor i've been on propecia and ballvic shampoo for 2 months and no results seen yet haha
