Isn't this classic case of counter lady giving erroneous information?
Proscar is 5mg of Finasteride
Propecia is 1mg of Finasteride
From what i read, impotency as a side effect of Finasteride is about 1-2% of sample size , however, the effects are not permanent and will go away within 6 weeks of stopping consumption (correct me if im wrong).
So basically she dosn't have any idea of what she is saying.
Btw u asked her to check with the doc, so what did your doc say?
