I have been taking finasteride 1mg for a number of years already and it worked very well for me.

It basically stopped my hair loss and I even started growing back some.

Propecia is very ex and a doctor I visited recommended that I switch to generic propecia called Finas 1. He sold it at $58 per 30 tab then but over the years the price has been going up so I'm thinking of getting it elsewhere.

Anybody tried buying generic propecia or finasteride 1mg on online pharmacies?

I came across this site called edpure and they selling finasteride 1mg called finpecia for $60++ for 60 tabs  So cheeeep???

Any reliable ones to recommend? Don't want to end up buying something that is fake, or worse, harmful :(

Found a couple of older posts here mentioning xpress-chemist that sells finasteride 1mg. Anybody tried buying from them long term and works out well?

after combating with hair loss for 10 years with combination usage of the following methods/products
- propecia
- minoxidil
- nizoral
- emu oil, castor oil, coconut oil, lavendar oil etc
- biotin shampoo, ba wang etc, nioxin hair loss shampoo etc
- multi vit etc
- hair tonics
- laser comb

the only product I've using consistently throughout the year is propecia.
I find once your inner body has initiated the hair loss dna sequence, no methods/products could help u regain full head of hair that u used to have during your youth.
All these products could only slow down ur hair loss rates, eventually after many years bald spots will appear.
now I've given up using so many products and stick to propecia.
I'll save up to go for hair transplant instead

i don't understand what is the purpose that nature wants man bald during their mid years.

So what is the status of your hair now? Did propecia help regrow your hair? If so why do you need to save up for a hair transplant?

I was like you and tried everything from your list as well as been to beijing 101 for treatments but nothing works. But I didn’t give up because I am not ready for transplant. I now finally have seen some baby hair growing after I did oxygen treatments and using procapil infusion. Procapil seems to work better than minoxidil for me. Don’t give up :)

Even hair transplant is not an answer for hairloss.
After transplant , there r ppl still suffering from hairloss.
Ended up going twice or thrice transplant.

been using minoxidial for around 2.5 mths and i'd like to believe there are some results so far. recently read up on some shampoos that may further help my hair loss and managed to get the 2% nizoral shampoo from unity pharmacy, but understand that it is only recommended for use 3 times a week. can anyone please recommend a good shampoo that i can get locally and can complement the current shampoo or ones that can be used regularly?
else any good ones i can buy from amazon?

the nizoral 2% is sold for $23.20 (100ml)

any kind advice please. :o

I am using products that I bought from a holistic clinic which I am doing treatment at.

most of their products are herbal or natural but seems to work well. I do not fancy the smell from the shampoo though, however it works and it really clean my oily scalp well.

I am getting results but not sure if it is due to the products or treatments. :s21:

I am looking for volunteers who want to reduce hair loss and increase growth of new hair, to be part of a trial for a hair growth capsule (It's free). This is only for people who are genuinely experiencing hair problems.

For those interested in taking part, please email me at hairformulatrial@gmail.com

Yo, where do you all get your Finasteride? Anyone encounters the sexual side effects and do they go away after you stopped? I am currently losing hair quite badly but have tried minoxidil with no effects. But i am worried about the side effects of Finasteride...

Anyone know how to cure thinning hair? You know, giving it more volume, making it thicker?I've had this problem since my hair started growing i guessAlthough i heard that a bad diet can really affect hair growth and my diet is really really bad...malnutrition :s22: .So,other than eating properly, any advice on what to take?

Hi, I used to have a very thin hair. Not really because of diet, my whole family has thinning hair also. A salon recommended me the loreal hair spa stimulation product and that helped alot. I am still using it to prevent hair loss. Last time I didnt know that outside also got sell this product. I bought at Salon very expensive. Now I found this website viimart.com they sell cheaper. You want want to try Shiseido hair loss shampoo but much more ex than loreal. Another tip is keep eating alot of beans :s13:
