Hi guys. I have sudden hair loss since i came back from europe in nov. All the while only the lob at the back have lesser hair. But my whole head is damn thick. After i came back. The hair keep dropping until my whole room and toilet is full of hair. Been using hairloss shampoo from salon. Switch a few still the same.

Now i started minoxidil 5% for 1 week. And biotin supplement for 2 weeks. I think hairloss is controlled. But still have hair dropping when showering.

Do u guys have any recommendation for doctors tat is not too ex and can check for hairloss. Best if after office hrs also open. I went to 2 gp all ask me go specialist. But i too kan chiong to wait alr. Im wondering is it male pattern hairloss or due to stress. My hair is very thin now. But luckily i have rather long hair still can cover it.

Please send me if u know the docs treat hairloss. Thanks guys!

Hi guys. I'm 22 this year. My hair has been thinning quite bad. Maybe follow my dad hes bald now. But I still young I mean I wanna remain and look youthful as long as possible. Anyways I've been looking to hair transplant seem like the only permenant solution. Have been using rogaine minoxidil there is difference but very slight. Does anyone know of any clinics in Singapore and can recommend a hair transplant surgeon. Best if they accept payment by installment because to spend that much money at one time is a bit too much. Thanks bros!

My condition is stage 1 to 2. If I go to NSC, do you know what is the damage for consultation and Propecia?

Finasteride, Proscar/Propecia

Finasteride is the generic name for the brand name drugs Proscar and Propecia. Finasteride was originally developed by Merck as a drug to treat enlarged prostate glands (Proscar). During the trials on men with prostate problems an intriguing side effect of hair growth was observed. Since finasteride had already been approved by the FDA to treat enlarged prostates in men, Merck and Company decided to pursue the possibility of developing finasteride as the first pill to treat male pattern baldness.

On December 22, 1997 the FDA approved a 1mg dose of finasteride for the treatment of androgenic alopecia in men (male pattern baldness). Propecia is the first drug in history to effectively treat male pattern baldness in the vast majority of men who use it.

Is it snake oil?

Just to share. I have been facing hair loss problems for more than 5 years. I have visited many treatment centres and GPs. At times, it seemed to "get better" (not sure whether psychologically) and then got worse again. I have recently been visiting this treatment centre on a colleague's recommendation and was glad that they do not need to sign a package to start. 3 weeks had passed and the amount of hair fell during each bath as got lesser and lesser miraculously. People there are nice and knowledgeable too. Will update more about my progress here in a few more weeks. Wish me luck!

usually about 100 plus for consultation and minoxidil is 50 and finastaride is 50 for 30 tablets. the price plus minus abit ah. anyway u want try one pack of finastaride first? trust me their advice is generic, the key thing is whether u have side effects or not

I have tried propecia + minoxidil for 2 weeks+ already.

No side effects whatsoever but im dropping hair like crazy nowadays! Is this normal? My vertex hair receded so badly in the past 2 weeks.

I was prescribed these meds by my CGH derma. From seeking help to worse hair now, what can i do?

Im serious when i said this but my hairline turned from I to II/III in 2 weeks.
