Rogaine or minoxidil is use to offset your hairloss, it doesn't stop hairloss. you need a product call propecia, proscar or finasteride. Rogaine and minoxidil are the only 2proven products. do a search online to find out more. although it will help but don't expect it to grow tons of hair.

wchknight and arianwen :

if you are talking about the same comb, you can find more information from the link below.
http://www.amazinglasercomb.com/

KV:

keep trying proscar for another month or 2. the side effect should go away. if not, try see a doctor. but it should not be something serious.

rokoing and wilsong77:

you should be able to get proscar with a prescription at around $115. most clinic won't carry it. so just get a prescription from your doctor and buy it from pharmacy. a prescription from doctor should cost about $5.

noinimod:

if you are a male, you should be fine using 5% which i see no reason going for 2%. in singapore, the cheapest i know is from CGH. but you need to get a prescription from your doctor to get the special price. other than that, i not too sure. you can give CGH a call to find out about the current offer.

just a light proof, air tight container will do. any empty vitamin bottle will be fine. don't sweat over the details.

Rei_Ihara:

i won't bother with biolyn. but it not too expensive so if you need a shampoo, it will not harm. but i doubt it will do anything. if you are a male, get on finasteride. how long have you been using minoxidil? it is normal to shed more in the first month or 2.

arianwen:

oral minxidil or loniten is use for treatment for blood pressure and can have some serious side effect which could cause death. it is often taken by patient when other treatment fail. i strongly suggest you stay away from it.

i heard of people taking low dose of 5mg per day and most of the time they are doing fine. but i not sure of any long term side effect and the result they have. if you are getting hair grow from loniten, you will be growing hair all over you rather then just your head.

also, you need prescription for it. the cost for the drug is not cheap. some people suggest drinking rogaine. drinking 0.1ml per day for 5mg.

Warning: i am only providing information and in no way asking or suggesting anyone using oral minoxidil.

bro actually i recently increase the dosage of minoxidil to 3-5 spray per side (receding hair line) as i use to have 2-3 spray each side 3-4 months back.

As for finasteride i think i will not use it right now as i'm still young dont really want to affect my father day :p

maybe u would like to recommend me some shampoo that you tried before? now i'm using clear actually i dont have dandruff but i just give it a try.

Me a bit skeptical about the amazinglasercomb. Its quite cheap compared to other brands. Could the laser beam be too weak to cause biostimulation???

Isopropyl or someone did provide an explanation for the cheap price. Think it should be enough. And I'm only sixteen by the way and my hairloss is quite severe already, that's why looking at this alternative. So I guess we have three people in this now? Maybe we get more and I'll try to email the guy and we'll see how it goes.

it very near right after you enter into malaysia. not too sure how to explain to you in words. it across the road of one india temple. it name is mypharmacy. there are a number of pharmacy i went to ask. i think mypharmacy is the cheapest as they offer 15% discount.

another pharmacy that can be found easily is PharmaCARE. they also offer 10% discount. so the price is pretty close. they can be found almost anywhere also.

2months supply is equal to 8-10months of treatment. depend on whether you cut it down to 4 or 5pieces. i don't think it a problem to bring some drugs in for personal use if it is not too much. 2months of proscar should be fine. unless they tot it is something else.

Do you know if you can get PROSCAR from Guardian Pharamcy in IPOH, PERAK or anywhere else in IPOH?

I do not think there is a PharmaCARE or mypharmacy there. what about in KL can PharmaCARE or mypharmacy be easily found in any of the big shopping centres in Kuala Lumpur? and if so which ones and for how much?

Also will I need a prescription from a GP if I want to buy it from a Guardian Pharmacy in Malaysia? I cannot seem to find a location for PharmaCARE or mypharmacy in KL or Ipoh.

The Guardian Pharmacy looks like the biggest chain of pharmacies they seem to be everywhere.. can i still buy proscar from them without prescription, no questions asked?

Thanks for your help

Anyone heard of this procedure? How is it done? Is it as expensive as normal hair transplant?
