very good read!
did he prescribed u any topical solution for the scalp?

He gave me the choice of topical solution or oral medication. I chose oral medication. So I'm only taking propecia, nothing else. He did mention that oral medication works faster. I wasn't keen on topical solution since it is quite troublesome, you need to apply 2 times a day. And there's the side effects like dry scalp and hair shedding which I wasn't keen on.

I have been taking propecia for 3 days now. I feel nothing unusual, no decrease in sex drive and stuff like that. It's only 3 days, so see how first.

Hi everyone, i did up a forum for hair-loss discussion just for Singaporeans. Singaporeans males can go there to discuss their ways for treating hair loss and also to voice their opinions. The forum is definitely not created to make a fast bucks off anyone. I just want all Singaporean Males who are suffering from MPB to be able to congregate at one place and help each other in one way or another.

So ppl, please make this forum a success and let's participate. Let other singaporeans who are suffering from hairloss know that they are not alone.

For Maingraph,
maybe we can combine the forum of mine and the website of yours together to make it a one-stop portal for everyone. I think we can work something out. :)

hello hairlosshelp, i appreciate the suggestion,

the previous site sghairgrow (lasted 3 weeks before it went into inactivity for 1 month plus before there was some issues with the domain) has a total member of 35 and there are many threads

the new site sghairtalk is just a bringover of all the contents (it is largely done by fellow helpful experienced members of the forum) and the database of sghairgrow's forum (although still sorting out how to bring the saved database over)

I think it is less of a trouble to use the same forum especially when the database can be sorted out, and the forum uses the same url sghairtalk.com as a base itself. It would be very strange to have to 2 forums when we are doing a service, especially when the sghairtalk has established some foundations before

the forum needs mods/admins to add more (dont have alot of time due to work) It would be excellent if you would like to help moderate and/or continue to set up the forum topics.

agreed. actually i have registered over there since May too and saw quite a number of registered users too. it would be good to use what maingrapher has set up, instead of doing up another forum.

whatever it is and whoever the forum belong to, it is simply 1 purpose. that is to serve the balding community.

I beg to differ, it is not to serve the balding community, it is to reverse the balding community! =:p

www.sghairtalk.com

hi all, the pages are successfully transferred from sghairgrow to the current SgHairTalk.com

however, most of the pages inside are still using sghairgrow wordings, so dont mind that as i slowly (that's my last priority) change the words in each pages.

right now, the current priority is to solving the forum database issue, now reading up scripting and asking for help, so i really dont have extra time to bulk up the forum's sub categories and topics, really really really need someone to help out on that, and my internet usage is quite limited (due to one pc at home (many users) when im not working)

please drop me a PM to help me out on the forum subjects

and also start registering on the forum (even u registered on sghairgrow, just register again, in case the database issue is not resolved, just start the ball rolling)

hopefully the database can be resolved and the old threads are saved

The hair that u shed are the hair in their terminal stages (white bulb at root tip), those are hair that have reached the end of their cycle, and are meant to fall sooner or later. It's just that ur massaging actions help dislocate them faster. Everyone has terminal hair, they tend to come out when we shower. After that, the hair follicle will start a new growth cycle again. Just that for people with hairloss, it may take longer and the hair that grows out will be thinner and lighter.

It's good you are going to seek treatment. The earlier you seek treatment, the better your chances of recovering your hair. Typically, after seeing the doctor and starting on medication, it will take you about 3 months to 1 year to see improvement. Good luck.

www.sghairtalk.com

included bulk purchase options in the forum, guys

lets start registering

and use the forum which can segregate the topics and also group other people who dont frequent hardwarezone to share the experiences etc. (rather than this loading long page)

the earlier we get it going, the more information there will be

u just do a google on hair growth cycle. hair that's still growing, if you pull it out u will see the root is black, soft and little wet. terminal hairs that stopped growing has a white hard bulb at root, and is dry.

the cleansing n nourishing is the foundation, needs to be done thoroughly.. moreover, it's a package, n it's cheaper now liao due to the promotion, used to be more expensive..

as for the follicles, the tricho did a scan on my scalp, my "holes" only haf one single strand of hair, usually it has 3.. the hair growing part will make it produce more than one single strand on a "hole"

for follicles dying, as i said, she said i'm still young(23), n my situation is not dat bad, got gd chance of reviving some if not all..

n she said once my hair is back to its former state, i dun haf to continue treatment anymore. But i think i'll buy their shampoo la, dun wan to go thru hairloss again if svenson succeeds in getting my hair back..

hey man care to update on your treatment so far? how many times u when and the results
