Thinning Hair problem

i notice my frontal hair start thinning, but my crown is ok... am i experiencing MPB???

He gave me the choice of topical solution or oral medication. I chose oral medication. So I'm only taking propecia, nothing else. He did mention that oral medication works faster. I wasn't keen on topical solution since it is quite troublesome, you need to apply 2 times a day. And there's the side effects like dry scalp and hair shedding which I wasn't keen on.

I have been taking propecia for 3 days now. I feel nothing unusual, no decrease in sex drive and stuff like that. It's only 3 days, so see how first.

Same age as you and same kind of prob. Thinning at the crown with itchy scalp.

What will alleviate the itchiness? Will I need to take propecia as well?

regarding this MPB thingy, is the root of the hiar ( the bulb) is black in colour or white in colour?

I noticed all the hair i drop has no white bulb, but ahve a small black bulb ( u run the dropped hair to the end , can feel it)

Proscar help to reduce DHT in your body which is one of the trigger for hairloss. after reducing DHT, you might slow, stop or even regrow some hair for those lucky one. most people only can stop or slow down so taking it as early as possible is the best bet.

minoxidil is more like a boster to grow your hair in layman term. it does not affect the hairloss process. it more like offset your hairloss if you know wat i mean.

i dont think u need to worry about that, i have been taking propecia on and off for afew years.

whenever i see some improvement i stop for awhile then when i feel its getting worse i take again hehee...

its really not cheap to maintain every month 90bucks.

Sometimes when my family or relatives go thailand i'll asked them to buy back for me, its comparatively cheaper.

I thiink my erection is still very strong and my sex drive hmm nv drop at all lor.. i think recently i actually increase!!!

you can cut it into 4 or 5parts without much different in it effect for hairloss. 1.25mg per day have almost the same effect as 1mg. even at 5mg per day, it is not going to make much different.

most people just cut it in 4parts due to ease of cutting. don't use a spill splitter as proscar pill is relatively small it will not be easy to use it. i just get those razor blade and it work great.

you can either get generic proscar online or as others suggest buy from oversea. in singapore you will need a prescription and it cost about SGD120.
