has any1 tried

1)Nioxin
http://www.nioxin.com/

2)Phyto for shampoo?
http://www.beautysak.com/products.asp?mode=m&did=&mid=720&cid=&type=&page=2

3) kerastase bain divalent balancing shampoo
http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Kerastase Specifique Bain Divalent shampoo(Brand New!!):5013674

4) charles worthington results balancing act oil-regulating shampoo

since we can only use nizoral for 2-3 times/week

nioxin worked for me.. :) but it'll take time. nonoetheless, i bought mine from nyc, 1L shampoo + 1L conditioner cost USD$50 on discount.

If you have any friends willing to lug back the two bottles its definitely a good buy

After 6 months of eating Saw Palmetto
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/saw.html

My balding has stop. (Not frontal balding)
People who want a cheaper alternative might like to try it.
It works for me but I am not sure if it will work for you.
Cost less than $15 a month for me by eating Saw Palmetto

I take 6 caps daily which is 3.3g of it.
Which is about 330mg of extract.
Why I take the whole fruit instead of the extract?
Because the whole fruit might has some other extra benefits. (Although no scientific proven since no experiment being conducted.)

That is all I have to share.
Folks who want to cut $$$ by eating Saw Palmetto might want to try it out.
It's so much more cheaper than Proscar.
Not to mention no need to waste time cutting it too.

I save a lot of money by switching to Saw Palmetto and it gave me good results too.

Proscar/Propecia block 2 DHT inhitbitors while Saw Palmetto blocks all 5.

extreme hairloss

i've recently given birth to my second child and i know it's natural for women to experience hairfall especially when they're exclusively breastfeeding their babies but my hair loss has gotten too extreme that i would normally lose 80-100 strands a day. it's too depressing.

would any one of you know any treatment for this that's safe to take while breastfeeding?:(

Pls do not be depressed at this point of time, otherwise u might experience postnatal depression and will not just make ur temp hair loss worse. Pls relax urself and if u read around, ur hair loss is just temp, need 3 to 5 months to get normal hair cycle again. i thought u must be aware of all these since it is ur second birth.

and anyway if u never have hair loss problem, losing of up to 100 strands of hair is normal. unlike me and the guys here, if we still lose up to 100 hair daily, something is seriously not right since our hair coverage is less than 50% by the time we notice our thinning hair.

i just start saw palmetto 2 weeks ago actually. finasteride and saw palmetto do not work the same way. finasteride is more specific as it inhibit dht in the blood.

duno u guys know or not, but i found a very cheap and reliable local source of saw palmetto. u can found it at http://www.sghairtalk.com/.

Hi guys, hope u all r doing fine. Sorry for not updating, cos since my camera phone got lost(pics with my months of progress, dam :( ), i hasn't been taking pictures of my hair. I will be getting a new one soon, hopefully can get some pics to post.

Geez, been struggling lately. Already passed the 8th months mark since i started on the fin and nizoral regime. Didn't see any improvement or regrowth, in fact, the past 2 months has been shedding much. My diffuse thinning at the crown has spread over the side of the scalp, and my hairline is showing a little sign of thinning too. Am I not reacting to fin?

I also encounter occasional itch at the scalp which i thought has gone away since i took fin, and an increase in dandruff. My nizoral regime hasn't change so i'm not sure what the problem is. From this rate of shedding, i seriously feel it's a road of no return.

Should i just ride it out and continue with fin and nizoral? Or you think maybe i can try other med like dut or saw palmetto?

Anyone here face a similar situation before or have advice for my current condition??
