can see china teochews still using the proper term for meat 肉 which is nek and not bak which is learnt from hokkien people and they say 喜歡hee hua instead of suka.

ever since i discovered douyin ...
i discovered i am actually from 潮汕 coz my mum and the elderly relatives speaks exactly like that.

Going to make a trip there ... soon .. but scare it's not 1st tier city.. ..wait too many problems...
need to wait for my kids to grow up first

teochew ladies beauty is legendary.. moi rast time take taxi.. I think at least 5 taxi unkers on 5 separate occasions reminiscent how chio the teochew girls in SG were during their time.. China social media also boast teochew girls very chio :LOL:

All the dialects will disappear in another generation or 2… we need to practice or learn before they gone
