They got targeted by organized anti-fanren campaign probably by the competitors. There is large amount of critics so the production make some changes to address the critics and improve the episode.

Fix how come enemy Qin nascent soul didn't detect Lei Wanghe

Fix how Hongfu, Weiniang recognized Hanli just from his back and more lines to express shock in seeing Hanli. Weiniang want to call Hanli "Xiao Ba (Little 8)"
Add line that Qin ask his minions to stay away
Change from "在下" to "本座" when Hanli address himself (more respect)
Remove more lines between Hanli talking to Qin before and during fighting. Critics say Hanli OOC talk too much.
Change the reason why Qin thought Hanli is from demon sect. Change from killing(sha) energy to demon flame.
Emphasize Qin recognized the scarab beetle and thought Hanli is TuWu people (Soaring Tribes)
Change the 2 minions stay back to protect Qin.
Add more lines in Hongfu to express how Hanli has changed
and probably more....

To be fair some of the comments are justified, I also felt out of place how 韩立 got recognised so quickly by his 黄枫谷 friends given it's been many years since they last met plus almost impossible for 伪灵根 to reach 元婴.

Agree most of the changes are justified. I like the remake more than the original. It flow more naturally.

By the way, i like the below video's take on the controversy.
