would you guys take the starbucks or bluesy?

You mean if both are offered at same time? Naturally the Starbucks. But I wouldn’t mind an opportunity to get the bluesy if it was available and Starbucks is not.

depends on the condition lo
luckily the seller that sold mine was a private collector, not a full time dealer
the condition for it was very good even though the watch is older than me

if you wear it loose, in the future there's potential for stretch since the bracelet still doesn't have the ceramic pins

is it 22 + 2 end links = 24 total? or 24 is doesn't include end links?
this is something i wasn't sure of, i think mine was 22 + 2
Thanks but for the 6 digits ones like 118238/118239 do they have the ceramic pins ? Even these 2 models have a different clasp 🤦🏻‍♂️

updated my comment to clarify the question. I have a pepsi with the bluesy as well as a blue bb58 in my 3 watch collection. Just thinking if i should trade in the bluesy 116613LB for a starbucks instead. granted the bb58 has a very different shade of blue to the sub and its more of an every day watch. but just thinking if the cermit/starbucks will add more versatility to my 3 watch collection. Thoughts?

I will keep the bluesy as its the only watch which has blink in a correct way... Loud in the face, with good touch of gold.

If you want to let go, contact me. Tempt me. I might really buy it from you.

googled a bit and seems like most 6 digit refs do have the ceramic pins
thanks … been surfing watch forum but some say only the new 40mm ones have it.
For older version of the 6 digit bracelet quality is the same as the newer version ? Only different is the clasp ?
In this case should just go for the newer references

A bit hard for me to say. I do not know how much you like the bluesy or the Starbucks. If possible, I might suggest that you keep the bluesy

NP. i havent actually down any research to how much a 116613LB with box and paper is worth. but feel free to drop me a PM if you are serious.

The bluesy is actually passed on to me from my dad. Just trying to get some opinion on if the starbucks will serve as a better contrast to my Blue BB58 and jubliee pepsi in the context of a 3 watch collection. Even if the dials between the pepsi and starbucks are identical. what works best in a 3 watch setup between the two options, that is my main consideration.

Yeah man. Keep it. The sentimental value is worth more.

Appreciate the replies! both my dad and I are very practical people and he gave me the watch because he's no longer wearing it. This particular piece doesn't have any significance to him which is why he is also ok with me trading it off for something else.

All brand new daydate come with 24 links. example below, just count the "round thingy"

At the end of the day, whether you trade for Starbucks really depends on which you like better or which would diversify your collection. Your concern is probably whether you're making an impulse decision and regret it later, but seeking others' opinions doesn't help you in the end. Maybe you should head down to a shop and wear the Starbucks on your wrist to decide :D

I'll still give you my opinion since you asked, I'd prefer a bluesy sub to a starbucks sub. The main reason being the bluesy is such a unique a iconic colorway, whereas you can easily find alternative starbucks sub from other brands

Appreciate the reply bro. I just got the bluesy from my dad and my initial thoughts was that its too bright and a little retro for me. I have seen the cermit in person and it just strikes me as a younger looking watch more suited for my age. But you are right, I shouldn't be hasty and I think I should give the bluesy a try for now. A bit of gold also adds to what would otherwise be an all stainless collection.

Also with how market price is going, and further interest rate hikes coming, the price for a cermit may well drop further. If that happens I can always expand my 3 watch collection into 4 LOL.
