Appreciate the reply bro. I just got the bluesy from my dad and my initial thoughts was that its too bright and a little retro for me. I have seen the cermit in person and it just strikes me as a younger looking watch more suited for my age. But you are right, I shouldn't be hasty and I think I should give the bluesy a try for now. A bit of gold also adds to what would otherwise be an all stainless collection.

Also with how market price is going, and further interest rate hikes coming, the price for a cermit may well drop further. If that happens I can always expand my 3 watch collection into 4 LOL.
Guess you r in the 20s, 30s, Lol...

Budget around S$22,000 full link preferred.
Looking for watch only - don’t need papers or box

At the end of the day, whether you trade for Starbucks really depends on which you like better or which would diversify your collection. Your concern is probably whether you're making an impulse decision and regret it later, but seeking others' opinions doesn't help you in the end. Maybe you should head down to a shop and wear the Starbucks on your wrist to decide :D

I'll still give you my opinion since you asked, I'd prefer a bluesy sub to a starbucks sub. The main reason being the bluesy is such a unique a iconic colorway, whereas you can easily find alternative starbucks sub from other brands
$200 - unique iconic? lol

Been noticing on TRF and Rdit that US grey prices have fallen quite a fair bit, now close to retail price for pieces like subs. Do you think this will affect the SG market? Prices have started falling recently but not as sharp as US.

Definitely will drop further. US grey market actually still quite high. If you look at china grey prices it’s even lower now. Wait till those stocks move to other parts of the world. The Vacheron constantin overseas v4500 I was looking at dropped from 50k+ Usd to 28+ Usd in 2-3 months with no one buying still, will get to msrp or even lower (as it’s used) soon.

yup. noticed a lot of greys have been slowly dropping price on steel sports models on carousell over the past few weeks. and I still see them not moving. Fed is gonna raise interest rate yet again today and China is still dealing with covid. reckon prices will drop further.

If flippers move out, means for chance to buy from ADs. Registering my interest in the new gmt nao!!!

On another note, the TN scammers really timed the market well

Big players grey dealers have all the capital. they can keep their watches and wun worried much about cash flow.

right now end users buy and just flip at low price because they need cash flow.. tts one reason why the market price all drop beside china lockdown and crypto crash.

when the big players buy these watches from end users at this low price, then markets will become only them have the stock, by then they can slowly increase the price again.

i think right now best buy is batman and starbuck going at around 26k for brand new..

Big players are not buying either. A lot of sellers are big players as well. Watch is not like gold, you can’t just hope it will eventually go up. When new models come out old models will depreciate. They keep so many in the end will Gg.

big players are buying from end users at few hundred to 1k of end user asking price. watch is not gold.. but ask around, pple tend to buy watch to invest rather then gold unlike old generation people.. old model depreciate? except for DJ, u dont see sport models price depreciate after discon.

Yup. I see from youtube a lot of dealers are more cautious with buying too. If can buy at retail that is a no brainier but if need to buy at market price, the big players are also not rushing in atm. Nobody wants to buy a Starbucks at 25k now and risk the market dropping further. Also, i don't know of any business that would not be concerned about cash flow lol.

Hope the non popular model like yachtmaster 126622 to drop further to 20k odd. Now still holding quite steady at 23k for brand new piece.

That is at the current craze. Don’t need to look too far, just 2-3 years back and see how much discontinued sports models sell for.
