Does Yacht master 126622 can get easily from AD or also must have waitlist? Believe this model is low demand. Seldom see grey advertised it. Thank you.

Yup.... worst value to retain or pass down is actually the two tone rolex sports watches.... you see the resale market for 16613, 16713 or 16623. Pricing barely move anymore.

I can't say much for the full gold sports watches, as I no experience. :o

I also no experience but seems those dun hold their value also. Only the steel ones do. I was thinking instead of forking out double the List price for a new steel Daytona I’ll rather pay slightly more for a preown WG one which is going for discount below RRP

If you ask me, I will still say buy steel watches instead of precious metal variants. There is a reason why its almost double in the pre-owned market, also full gold watches, scratches more easily as its softer, so more care needed + you will be surprise if you need an additional link for your full gold watch.

I was quoted around $850 by RSC for 1 additional president bracelet link. :(

Will suggest getting the older variant 16622 instead. All dumping below $10k can get.

I hunting for my first love 16570 explorer 2 polar... Found a few selling around 9-9.5k (pinhole, SEL, with box and papers, slight polish done, hairline scratches) but not sure if worth it, seems quite high to me. Price wise you all think is too high or reasonable?

How to justify? When I bought mine new, it was $4k. I sold it for $5k after years of use (quite beat up condition). And nobody thought the Explorer 2 would appreciate at the time. It was the uncool sibling of the family. Now it’s closing $10k.

When it comes to Rolex steel professional models, just buy as soon as you can. Don’t think too much. No need to mull over $1-2k difference. If you’re not a flipper, it doesn’t matter because it will all balance out with time. It becomes irrelevant after a while whether you paid $4k or $7k or $9k. You’ll be too busy enjoying it.

Wah...if around $4k, means u get it in the 90s or early 2000? I know in the 2010, its going around $5-6k.

90’s...

Which is why I say, if wanna get, get as soon as possible. It will all balance out in the end if you genuinely want to wear one.

Eventually when you fall out of love with it, it’s like someone paid you a thousand bucks to use it for 10 years.

this is true. i ask them SE before. even the SE wanna help you, also need send up to their store manager to ask for approval by checking your purchase history.

which i think is fair now because rolex is hot and everyone wants 1 and everyone who usually get, will tend to flip it since the profit is pretty attractive.

no waiting list - the book they ask u to write name is for you to feel that they're trying

VVIP, VIP and purchase with purchase time to time will work.

THG > support their in house brand like hublot. sub no date and date should be easy.
Cortina > same thing but their house brand not sure is what.
Emperor > same thing.
Yes, purchase history is very important. Ultimately, its all about dollars and cents.
