Panda at 15k premium i rather get RG oysterflex. I love both equally and would love to add a white faced dial to my collection but 116515ln seems more value and classy. it's already trading at 15k premium whereas panda is still at 20-22k premium. if prices continue dropping, i much rather 116515ln at 52k than say panda at 35k. also, why doesnt rolex make the full precious metal variants of daytona with ceramic bezel? if that was an option i would much rather that than oysterflex.

simply because it will cannibalise the full gold daytonas and oysterflex daytonas.
they keep it separate so they sell more watches.

what you're saying make sense but not necessarily is within one's budget.

Inflation data.. but it’s all kinda priced in and just part of narration to move the market.
but watch prices should drop more.. btc just crashed to 15k. 6k in 2 days that’s a crash./ general market still considered nothing..still money to be made in certain counters

crypto and tech winter is here. all the ginna who speculated in watches will dump/ fire sell more? haha

Actually I feel so.. that’s why prices drop so drastically.. but also because prices were pumped up too much 😂

Did the historical articles says how Wilsdorf came up with the brand Rolex by the way? It is quite ingenious actually. Many of the watch brands used names of actual persons from founding company to name their brands but he never call it Wilsdorf. Haha. And the 5 match sticks logo is also a very good one. Very easy to identify and recognisable. My late father knows what is Rolex decades ago and the 5 match sticks logo and thing is, he never was a watch person.

Wilsdorf wanted the brand name to be easily pronounceable in any language, and short enough to fit on the face of a watch. He also thought that the name "Rolex" was onomatopoeic, sounding like a watch being wound.

when Pepsi starts to be readily available and at RRP at many ADs…doubt peepur will still want to buy haha…those flippers and speculators will think twice as cannotch earn $ already…so those keep saying hope prices cum down and hope ADs will have all these sports for display lol…if it really happens doubt chiu will still want to buy anymore as every Tom dick and harry can buy and have teh same watch as chiu
