Hope you have some good news on ur wishlist.

I think KHH will be eager to do something new as they are currently very limited in biz avenue; only Rolex and Tudor and moving to a new place with high rent.
Thanks, I normally visit my SA on a periodic basis, like maybe 2 months once, more of a catch up, not exactly to “pressure” her on my wishlist. I know I will eventually get it, just a matter of how long the wait will be.
I also feel KHH current business model like not very sustainable in the long run. All the other ADs either have other brands to sell or they have other product line, eg Jewellery in the case of Emperor. KHH and WP only does Rolex and Tudor. They need to do something different in the long term I feel

Won't be 30K, im surpise if its at 15K for next few months onward. Firstly as Authorised Retailer entered the marker for 2nd hand rolex, it will push up the supply of rolex watches in market, prices will definitely be affected overtime when supply > demand. Secondly, a 2nd hand rolex in AD definitely won't be more then original retail price. So its a waiting game now for the retailers to see how low rolex want to price the 2nd handed watches.

Summary, price will definitely drop as rolex is having a skin in game of 2nd hand market so don't gan chiong to buy first.

Hahaha it's good we have dreamers.
I hope you're not one of the guys who are willing to sell your hulk or whatever you got for -50% RRP( not even talking about market price) for rolex to sell it as CPO below its original rrp

Hahahaha omg. Jin funny

90% of rolex owners buy rolex because it holds value well better than other brands. Not because they like the design or appreciate it's history in the horology world.

Lol that's why no people are willing to sell it back to rolex or ad at half its original rrp or even market price. Even if the ad allocates you another piece immediately because it doesn't make any financial sense.

Selling a hulk to them at 6k (based on the 12k rrp back then, for them to sell at pre-owned, lowering prices to below current rrp levels) and having them sell you a starbucks at 14k. Make sense to you?

They are call rolex "boutique". They may get more allocation from rolex because they move mainly rolex products. Other ad tries to sell other brands to bundle rolex.
As a company. You prefer which ad business model?

Lol you don't worry. The HOW family is filthy rich.

Buy back at market price. Doesn't matter how much you pay in the first place.

Hard truth leh I also feel the same way. Most dun even know wads inside the watch and he differences.
I dun feel majority of the people who buy Rolexes are rich, since most put it in safe and barely wear it. Dun mention those who wear it also put layers of films over it.

Like u said it’s not they like the design or the history cause it doesn’t matter to them. They dun wear it anyways and just wanna use it as a financial product (aka make money).
Just my unpopular personal opinion

What it does it mean if a local AD says to a me ( with no prior purchase history) that “it should not take very long , wait a short while there should be stocks soon ”, means got chance? Or just giving us have false hopes?

it's a solid and well build watch that's for. don't break down easily
but on a horology perspective, they don't really innovate anymore.

With the modern technology most watches are getting their liao including micro brands.
Rolex know what their customers want that y they can afford to do that. They are marketed as a status symbol.

If Rolex really want to disrupt the grey market/flippers, they should sell CPO cheaper than the new models. Which isn't going to happen cuz Rolex are greedy fkers. Also, KHH will eventually get you to bundle CPO for new sports allocation. Overall ADs win and consumers still lose.
who say rolex want to disrupt?
rolex wants to join in the fun LOL
