Beats me….maybe the seller post his/her email address on the ad? All customers have an email address registered in the AD customer database.
i was seated and chatting with my SA when one of the lady staff came to her and say “this person flipping the Panda at 48k”. SA asked her staff to confirm the exact customer detail and then say “ok this will be flagged”. So I casually asked “customer kena blacklisted for flipping ah?”
lol carousell post other people number, post simi email
noob flipper. bo standard

Been awhile guys! I was recently drawn to the Rolex CPO program. So my own thoughts
1) first step was when they mandated stop issuing names and dealers on the warrenty, all stickers will be removed aka all watches sold are second hand

2) now they are just authorising AD to take in pre own so doesn’t that mean they will and can just buy back on the spot (for bundle etc) and re list the watches as 2nd hand and charge at premium price?

3) suddenly when the second hand prices are dipping, they announce this. Could it be to officially let their dealers become legit 2nd hand dealers to buy and sell at premium prices? Who’s the winner?

Maybe with added certification, they can commend an even higher premium lol and yes I don’t think grey priceswill collapse or what

Just my thoughts hor. I could or should be wrong but I like to think think about all these and do my own assumption for my own pleasure.

In all, can afford or u like >> buy and enjoy. Don’t think so much. We only live once and will never be winners in this game

:)
lol now grey dealers are doing god's work (charity)

48k? now new panda is only at 44k so how can that be? Are they playing wayang infront of you? If not, it is unprofessional to discuss this infront of a customer. My AD will never do that..

Ya I also don't think they will say this will be flagged infront of customer.
Trying to prove Simi. Anything can say in back office after serving. I think Hao siao you. Just take everything at face value.
I kena ban by thg. Lol. When I see my profile when the SA is keying in. I see red and black flag hahahaha legit.

48k is dumb price. Shop dealer asking 42-43k new only. 😂

If this is the kind of service level from thg, maybe is a blessing in disguise to be banned by them lol...

I dunno, maybe 48k was just the seller trying its luck? I guess they are not saying the flipper transacted at 48k but merely found out that he or she try to sell at 48k.
Anyway there is no need to wayang in front of me. I don’t see the point to do that. Whether that is unprofessional or not, I leave it at that. There’s often two sides of views to a thing. I would still hold my SA in high regard and this incident doesn’t affect how I see her because she is the most senior sales person in THG (with them since day 1 when THG was established). But I respect that everyone has their ways of looking at a situation

It’s anybody’s guess why Rolex is doing this. I do see the timing a bit unusual as it coincides at a time when Rolex resale prices are sliding

well… they listen to your encounter.. and then there’s so much speculation and assumption..kinda amusing. It’s okie. Our SA is a gem. Let’s keep it that way. Haha.

if by just posting online and got flagged, I highly doubt their integrity in the system. Even in a court of law, the prosecutor has to prove beyond any doubt for a person to be guilty..Sometime the seniors acts like they are the owners but at the end of the day, they are just workers that are dispensable..

I think should refrain from sharing too much here too as much as the good intent is there.
Some overthink the situation.

Dun think she is a gem lah as dun even have basic customer service discretion, probably just fortunate to stay in the job for very long and ride on the wave..

You do understand that this is a retail business and it’s up to the discretion of the AD to decide who they want to sell to. This doesn’t come under an employment act or contractual act or laws of contracts, so I don’t think they are under obligation to prove that the flipper have actually transacted and sold the watch and questioning the integrity of the system just because you feel they need to prove that the sale have taken place is a bit excessive IMHO. By attempting to sell online, whether it really gets sold or not, at end of the day, it is up to the retail business to decide whether they wish to continue selling to that customer. Because the intention to flip is already there. You can also be guilty of attempting to molest someone and whether the molest actually takes place is immaterial.
Yes, that’s why I did also say I can respect a difference in views of why someone would view a discussion like this in front of a customer like me unprofessional although I don’t see it that way. And nobody says the seniors are indispensable. No one is indispensable in the modern era in any case. What I’m saying is that what happened hasn’t affected how I view her and I’m sure many of her existing customers concurs with how we see her as a sales person to her clients as well as the organisation in which she worked in.
Good discussion nonetheless and good night

Agree, thanks for the reminder. I got carried away I think. I will definitely rethink of what I should share in an open forum like this. Thanks 🙏
