for watch protection, collection is within the day but I left my rolex with them for few days before going back to collect. cos it's quite troublesome to specially make the effort to collect again in the noon.Interesting.
A separate question on watch protection film, apologies if this has been discussed before. How long does it take to apply? Seems like some need to leave the watch with the shop, is that a concern? Can’t imagine letting my watch out of sight![]()
I had some history with my SA when I ordered my moser streamliner however I recommended a friend and he does not have any and manage to place order for it and received his.Anyone know if getting a Moser Streamliner Center Seconds or Czapek Antartique need to build relationship too?
Or can i just order and wait?
I think those brands rather than building relationship, you have to have someone who already owns one of their watches intro you I heard?I had some history with my SA when I ordered my moser streamliner however I recommended a friend and he does not have any and manage to place order for it and received his.
Recently I heard green dragon is discontinued. Not familiar with Czapek.
i heard it will be an updated version of the green dragon this year. Not exactly discontinued. But the current streamliner they apparently stopped taking orders already. Same for Czapek. Must wait until they open orders again. But not sure if can just go in order with no history or need to have Journey beforeI had some history with my SA when I ordered my moser streamliner however I recommended a friend and he does not have any and manage to place order for it and received his.

How do you see Moser? Heard quite polarising views about it, where from the horological point of view or perspective regarding value retention.i heard it will be an updated version of the green dragon this year. I have a friend who has good history at Cortina. Maybe he can help me get one
i like cuz its so freaking chio. I only like the streamliner center seconds. The bracelet is damn sleek and seamless. How do you see Moser? Heard quite polarising views about it, where from the horological point of view or perspective regarding value retention.
I did it for Pepsi and Seadweller 43. I didn’t do on my mint green DJ and also didn’t ask for the 4947. I don’t think they have the film across all models of PP. For sure they can do Aquanaut and Nautilus.Ah I see. That sounds a bit more reassuring. Was it for the 4947? I just wonder if they have it for most models precut? Any concerns applying on gold watches?
Not sure, possibly different people different product experience. Or sometimes happen to be isolated cases or “lemon”. Well, as long as the other brands work for you, that’s more important.I did rx8 however I experienced film turning yellowish if put in the storage for a week or more. Now I turned to watch shell or ws pro and it is much better. Both guys are trustworthy and sometime we just left a couple of watches for them to do and go for our roti prata and come back later to pick up.

I have seen multiple posts on the film being applied on gold watches. Have not heard of any specific issues so far.
Ya heard different perspectives, definitely will have pros and cons I suppose, to each his own liking. It’s a hobby after all. And like for you, some you put and some don’t put, also can have a varied experienceNot sure, possibly different people different product experience. Anyway some bros here don’t advise applying film protection on our luxury watches. Haha
Sincere would probably have a higher chance.i heard it will be an updated version of the green dragon this year. Not exactly discontinued. er.. this one is shop selling price, they buy in even lower.previously discussing how much the original owner of the Tudor gold watch would lose when he buys at retail and tries to sell it. This gives a good idea:
Check out 'Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 58 79018V 18K Yellow Gold', available at S$15,500 on #Carousell https://carousell.app.link/nWEjnmLFrwb
Yes ah, so we estimate they take in approx 2-3k less? Owner takes only 12.5-13.5k? He loses nearly 50% of the original retail priceer.. this one is shop selling price, they buy in even lower.
I guess it might be less than 12.5k, considering the market now and the risk of being stuck with it, they may need to have a much bigger margin. Wow ouchYes ah, so we estimate they take in approx 2-3k less? Owner takes only 12.5-13.5k? He loses nearly 50% of the original retail price![]()
it will still be very worth the loss in the seller view. haha. to build the profileYes ah, so we estimate they take in approx 2-3k less? Owner takes only 12.5-13.5k? He loses nearly 50% of the original retail price![]()
Haha the max loss I ever took was a 4.8k one to build profile for Pepsi. 12-13k, no way man. And if it’s the guy who used this to bundle for Rootbeer, even lagi not worth itit will still be very worth the loss in the seller view. haha. to build the profile
don't be shocked leh. obviously will lose min half la.Yes ah, so we estimate they take in approx 2-3k less? Owner takes only 12.5-13.5k? He loses nearly 50% of the original retail price![]()
