Diver seems fine. But they were pushing code. And it’s hard to describe but the way they treated me (across 2 local boutiques and one in Japan) was quite poor. And I am familiar with the Rolex and Patek AD experience and understand the situation. Plus they also know that I am a collector because of what I wore and we talked abt watches tooA friend of mine were with AP MBS. He was asked to purchase a ROO Diver first which he did. Then after waiting for about 15 months, he was allocated the SS RO. I don’t think i will journey for other brands apart from Rolex and PP. Hence I didn’t ask him to refer me to his SA at MBS
True la, Rolex can be Chor, Patek lagi worse. Haha. Already privileged to enjoy such a fine collectionA friend of mine were with AP MBS. He was asked to purchase a ROO Diver first which he did. organized by triton? I went before in 2019 over a dinner in lavender area. just to chat chat about watches and took a photo at the endI’m going. Not sure what is it like as this is the first time I’m going. Believe this should be the 4th year they had this event and the first one since 2020

Did one of mine with him. Leave with him in the morning then collect around 5pm. So far his reviews ok la, trustworthy.Interesting.
A separate question on watch protection film, apologies if this has been discussed before. How long does it take to apply? Seems like some need to leave the watch with the shop, is that a concern? Can’t imagine letting my watch out of sight![]()
Interesting.

I did mine with a shop in Pacific Plaza. They are the distributor of RX8 protection film in Singapore. Usually I will bring the watch to the shop and then chit chat with him while he is doing it. It takes about 35-40 mins (including 10 mins for the film to dry a bit). I’m ok to just stay in the shop for about 40 mins since I kind of enjoy chatting with him and they are also the AD for Grand Seiko and other brands like Azimuth. So can also browse at other watches in their shop for a while.Interesting.

Ah I see. That sounds a bit more reassuring. Was it for the 4947? I just wonder if they have it for most models precut? Any concerns applying on gold watches?I did mine with a shop in Pacific Plaza. I did rx8 however I experienced film turning yellowish if put in the storage for a week or more. Now I turned to watch shell or ws pro and it is much better. Both guys are trustworthy and sometime we just left a couple of watches for them to do and go for our roti prata and come back later to pick up.I did mine with a shop in Pacific Plaza.
