I’ve been here and in the watch scene long enough to know of ur rep around here. Joke of a collector/flipper. Own nothing and just get off by blowing ur own trumpet by putting down novices looking for sincere advice. I have nothing against the size of a collectors collection but smth against users like you. Not qualified to give any advice but want to butt in at every post and feel good by posting some holier than thou bs.

Been here long enough to also hear in the Rolex forums where the real collectors are, U stfu like a mouse. If u have nth to add to my post then stay away from my post thanks. Don’t need to expand so much effort to get 5 seconds of attention for every post here - 99% of which people are seriously not seeking your views cause they don’t matter, and people really don’t care lol. Take my word again on this. May be a hard truth for u to swallow but still true.

No idea..If he has have nth to say, stfu and no one will call him a mute. Don’t see why is there a need for him to hijack every post to post unconstructive bs that no one cares for. The only reason I can think of is some inferiority complex or Napoleon syndrome.

I don’t know how he hides behind woman skirt but it fits the narrative and I’m not surprised. Care to elaborate more?

lololol

this guy ah. confirm got some problem in the head. he can type and post but when i do, it's a hijack/unconstructive comment. LOL, if you want to do monologue, start a blog/instagram/snapchat. come forum for fk?

eat too much stingray sambal, the sambal went into the brain is it?

everywhere with rolex is toxic

:s13:

Not really

Iphone vs android.

Sometime I really wonder why ?

As if the brand belong to the fan club people

The brand owner of the brand will give those fan club people $ if they honour the brand like God mode, even some products not very nice or got Manufacuturing defect.

There is no perfect products which is true.

Over praise the brand will get the brand people complacent and giving lousy quality ****.

So don’t crazy over brands. Search for quality

the recent rise of rolex being the top brand is because resale value la.

back in the early 2000/2010s, people buy rolex because won't lose much and easy to move when you need funds.
so their first is always rolex, partly cause asian mentality

now, everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon, cause buy already, price sure go up, become investment. tired sia

heng last time i buy 114060 for 7k full set, sibei song.
batman can buy at 9.5k full set wahahahahaha

but i still sold them (before all the hype) cause no feel. 114060 i buy like 6 times, still no feels.

JLC, buy once, kept it ever since.

but i guess i am a joker of collector that knows nothing :s8:

Infact in early days, rolex is a gambler favourite watch

Cos when gamble, lose $

Straight use the watch give to loanshark and loanshark give $ for him or her to continue to gamble.

I believe now still exist in casino when loanshark runner walking around in casino looking for customers.

It can also use to watch black $

U mean.. like 3 years later kind or... haha

Who knows, you might get lucky. Just do your leg work.

Since it trades just slightly above RRP, I can’t imagine the wait being forever. 3 years? May very well be.

But it’s not like the steel models trading > twice RRP.

So you scale the timeline accordingly.

> 2x RRP = wait forever
$2-3k above RRP = wait for ??

Thanks for the advice, if 2-3k above retail I don’t mind. But carouhell is listing 10k above for a bnib. Maybe you are referring to pre-owner piece maybe

Sorry I didn’t research. I just based the $2-3k on a post.

Same principle though. Just means even harder to get than I thought.

Rose gold shld be 2-3k above retail? No meh? The less popular one.
If you're talking about the white gold one, that one different story.

Curious why white gold is different story? Got demand or not much demand?

Based on RRP, yellow gold is cheapest than rose and white gold more expensive.

Hmm, from an economist perspective, just think of the Daytona, Pepsi as Veblen goods or otherwise Conspicuous goods. Where people buy goods to show off social status or success or when the demand of goods increase when the pricing increase as well. The grey market is playing off this effect.

Visited one of the AD in Orchard and was told warranty cards are now unnamed. Is this the standard practice now?

Was told similarly by an AD at orchard. Did some googling. It is true that the new card literally does not have a "Name" section.

Can google this article to see "Rolex New Warranty Card 2020 Guide - Millenary Watches"

Can't post link due to not enough posts

I think white gold should be most in-demand and expensive because WG looks closest to stainless steel and hence easier to wear without the dreaded uncle look.

Not a lot of people are comfortable or look good in yellow or rose gold watches.
