I'm not sure what deal there is... you're being offered a two-tone DJ41 at full retail.Hi guys I'm offered a DJ 41 two tone everrose oyster bracelet smooth bezel chocolate dial at AD. Retail 17.2. No discount. Should I take the deal ?

While they have not been usually displayed on the showcases, I'm quite sure you can find one in Singapore. Just walk around.
What is it that you (realistically) want?
Just get something you like, not because it's 'rare'. IMO there are more attractive and available DJ configurations out there.Yea only given a bit of a priority before they put in the case for general public
Just feel it's quite a rare color combo so I thought there some value to it
Realistically of course rather get sports model but never been offered ^^
And for same price of 17k can get second hand sub but not two tone so this is another angle of comparison

For the sports model, you have to ask... no one is going to magically offer you haha.
I feel that the DJ should come in fluted bezels, especially in TT, but that's just my preference.Yea sports model asked a long time and SE told me priority is given to "loyal supporter" (aka customer with long purchase history)
U mean blue steel DJ or what other config?
I kinda like this combo but usually two tone is traded at a discount so I'm still struggling with the idea of paying full retail for it![]()

Should just ask the SE how "loyal" do you need to be to get a sports model... maybe just start off with something easier to get, say, Explorer?

hi,
considering of getting Rolex for the first time, thinking of the entry level pre-owned Oyster Perpetual.
But since I don't understand much about Rolex. Some questions I would like to ask:
1. Some seller sell the watch in different price (1k SGD different), both are in full-set (box & cert), what could make the big price different?
2. If the watch come with the cert, is it guaranteed that the watch is authentic (not fake)?
Thank you
just broke my milgauss glass
any idea how much it costs to replace?

wa ya mine is the green one. cham. mine broke. tmr call rsc.Replaced a chipped green Milgauss crystal in Jan 2020 for $727.04 (before GST)
Hope this helpz![]()
If you getting from grey (eg Chuan, Brightime & etc).. I would say those watches are guaranteed authentic..
If carousell.. U better go for authentication before paying..
Bro moi got a new blue dial op from an AD here in sg. Just let them know you want by calling or visiting, then just wait. Moi waited like 1 week plus only to get a call back and moi then went to visit and buy from the AD.hi,

those trusted grey dealers right, they open the case back before taking the watch as well as prior to someone buying it.actually, i beg to differ. caveat emptor applies. I dare not say these grey are guranteed geniune but of course, they are reputable/established company and hence they are more trustworthy.
they only take in watches from sellers like me and you. when they take in, they merely match the serial number on the dial versus the warranty card and that's all. If any seller tamper the mechanics inside, and unless you strip the watch, there are no way to see from naked eyes.
hence, caveat emptor applies yah..
so the OP is your first rolex? mind sharing with AD you bought it from?Bro moi got a new blue dial op from an AD here in sg. Just let them know you want by calling or visiting, then just wait. Moi waited like 1 week plus only to get a call back and moi then went to visit and buy from the AD.
Local AD sell cheaper than grey dealer of course, they sell max is the price listed on the rolex website. Some more you can see and take and wear the watch on the day you buy it...
And first ever rolex should be memorable experience. Go boutique and see and talk to the sales assistant, get all the free gifts from them etc.
