Mother used to chase in the past, but last 3 years plus or so didn’t. She developed quite serious orthopaedic issues during the pandemic, requiring 3 operations, the last being a knee replacement Q1 last year. She is depression prone as well. I got to take care of her in her advancing years, attending to her daily needs (she can still move and not wheel chair bound but need assistance). It is quite physically and mentally tiring and I don’t think I can juggle and multi task between job, taking care of her and having another relationship with a view of getting married. Have been single for many years and with what happened recently, I more or less quite used to the thought of perhaps not getting married. Or only perhaps looking for companion after my mum passed on? I don’t know...I’m quite alight with my current situation....don’t exactly feel lonely..
Got 9 “girlfriends” to accompany you so won’t feel lonely lol…

Kudos to being a fillial son and taking care of your aging mother. It is a tough job esp for a son rather than a daughter.

Hope your mom will be better in time.

Thank you. Yeah, there are certain “inconveniences” at times as a son...
Her symptoms can only be “managed” and hard to “improve”. Is considered good if symptoms doesn’t worsen. But if dun go surgery, will become worse. After all, like what her orthopaedic surgeon said, our bones will only aged as we grow older, it will never reverse and become younger again...so need to manage expectations at this point. And the emotional aspect can be as tough to handle as the physical aspect (cos it is quite a blow to someone who used to be working and very active handling work outside and also the daily activities).

when one gets old and with no companion in future, life might get meaningless even if one has a good career and money
I feel when you reach retirement age and your friend’s kids are all grown up, we can spend more time with each other haha

Plus, if you have niece and nephews, can be the fun aunt/uncle. All the fun with 0 the responsibility HAHA
Which is also true. I quite enjoyed the time spent with my nephews and nieces as we take turns to visit each other houses on weekly basis as they also wanted to see how mum is doing. They are so cute and fun to be with. 😊

I always wonder about the full factory stickers. That literally means most who buy will stick it into the safe right? Unless super wealthy people who don’t mind peeling it off and wearing as brand new, but value immed drops. Speaking of which, are there ways to “fake” full factory stickers?

Sounds like a lot to experience and handle. Very complex and challenging, take care

Yes friends are crucial, meaningful friendships and doing fun things together
Ya that's what my parents are doing now. My dad is retired so on normal days he still volunteers as a sports coach and after that he will go out have supper all, my mum is still working but she meets her poly friends, then both of them will go on diving trips with a bunch of our family friends.

That one grey selling same price as AD

Can I check, is SS DJ mint green 31mm hard to get from AD?
🤭

Hi buddy, thank you! But I am more keen on getting this model from the normal AD. I was told that this model is a little hard to get it last year as the green is unique; represent Rolex’s traditional green.

Other bros here, mind sharing your opinion (whether is this hard to get or just need to wait for the normal shipment & allocation)? For my opinion, even if I am keen, I believe that there are quite a lot of people are ahead of me.. 😂🤣

Well said. Please don’t buy into the hype and treat watches as an investment asset. If earn money, it’s a bonus. If not, you still had fun wearing it.

Personally I don’t even want to ever sell my watches. If I ever need to sell them for cash, I think I must have really messed up.
Well i did sell some. Ranger tudor was a fast sale with small loss due to me impulse buy. And now maybe wanting sell 1 or 2 to trim down or reconsolidate.
